My first experience and definitely not my last!My wife took son and I to eat here last night. It was definitely a unique experience and pleasant. You can choose a station to share a hot pot or a station that provides smaller individual hot pots. There is another station that allows you to mix your own dipping sauce or you can mix it to flavor your soup base. The menu sports a wide variety of items to use in your soup along with a nice assortment of beverages. The place has a very casual atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I was introduced to this great little restaurant by family and friends who work at the nearby Fairfax County government complex. We have been many times, for lunch and dinner, and frequently get take-out as well. ALWAYS a very nice experience with excellent service (genuinely Thai--courteous, gracious, cheerful), authentic dishes, and quaint (but simple) setting. Try them out. I'm sure you'll be pleased. Please note if this review was helpful.

Jinya is my new favorite place in Mosaic. My favorite things to get here are the Carmelized Cauliflower appetizer and the Vegetarian Ramen. The spirit of the staff is upbeat, the vibe of the place is hip. Itâs dark inside, and noisy, but you get a welcoming feeling in there. If itâs nice weather, outside is the place to sit. Their patio is mostly covered so you will get sun protection. Itâs really nice to sit out there and watch all of the activity in the main Mosaic Central Park. Donât be afraid to sit at the bar for dinner if there are no tables available. Very friendly and inviting bar staff. So on to the food - the most important part of course! Everything is fresh and delicious. I have never had a bad meal or a bad experience at Jinya. I have eaten inside, outside at the bar and taken to go. My only slightly negative comment would be, if you are getting Ramen to go, it gets cold quite fast and it will require heating up at home. Also, a bit pricey for what youâre getting, but priced as expected for Mosaic. The Veg Ramen is so yummy in a mushroom broth, loaded with fresh greens, and other veg, and a heaping helping of Ramen noodles. The Cauliflower app is sweet and savory at the same time, with roasted garlic, pine nuts and of course the cauliflower itself which is roasted to a perfect golden hue. There are many other things on the menu to try. I highly recommend Jinya and I will be returning again and again.

Bonchon's Korean fried chicken is located in Fairfax, VA. Experience authenticity with Bonchon's signature Korean food in a restaurant location near you.
All Bonchon's are not created equal. The international chain is known for its twice cooked brushed on glaze of soy garlic or spicy sauce chicken. In the northern Virginia area, there are several locations, but I would put the Fairfax and the Centreville stores on the top of the list. I've actually eaten at probably 7 or 8 Bonchons in VA, MD, and NY, and the newer ones haven't quite perfected the cooking method. This Bonchon does it right. The wings are large, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The sauce is brushed on evenly and adequately. This location is very busy as a takeout and eat-in restaurant, so you may need to plan ahead during peak dining hours.

We have dined at Sisters on our occasional visits to Fairfax. Unfortunately, our latest dinner was somewhat disappointing. A chicken satay arrived raw in the middle. There was also some confusion on other orders, perhaps because we were there are a busy Saturday evening. Previous visits were superb.

If you're visiting Fairfax and looking for a nice and authentic Vietnamese Restaurant, East Wind is your Best Bet.
First pho place I've visited in Northern VA after being introduced to pho a year back. This pho best my favorite restaurant down in richmond.Ordered their chicken white meat pho (#25) - fresh and delicious. It also came along with some free rice crackers. Food came out super quick (3-5 minutes once I ordered). Customer service was fantastic and super attentive. At the end of the dinner, they surprised me with a dessert on the house (flan?) - too kind of them. Will be back!

Unfortunately the ramen tastes like ramen from the store, but served in miso broth it is so much better. Don't order from the special menu, lacks flavor and taste. Wings are nothing special. You must order the pork bun and can't beat their happy hour beers. Fun place and decent price. Best ramen is the miso the other lack in flavor. If this post helped please leave a thumbs up as a helpful comment!

We had a great meal here. The service was excellent - fast and pleasant - also very attentive. We had a fabulous array of sushi and sashimi on our platters - the small salad and miso soup were very good as well. One possible drawback is - there may have been added MSG in the food. I didn't think to ask as I don't have a problem back home eating Sushi out, but I noticed the next day I had the tell-tail headache I always get. If you are MSG sensitive - ask them!

Authentic homemade Italian Pasta & oven brick pizza coupled with an amazing wine bar.
Very good service. Great food: fettuccini alfredo with a wonderful sauce, chicken piccata, and veal saltamboca. Chocolate bread pudding and cremé bruleé for dessert. Only drawbacks: it was very loud - too loud for much conversation - and cold where we were seated near the door.

This review is for the one in Rockville. We came with a friend that was visiting overseas and were greatly surprised first at the nice atmosphere and chic ambience with cool decoration and second on the quality of the food as it was very innovative and different from traditional Thai. And everything was delicious and serve also very creatively, each order had their own type of bowl. Very cool place
