Jungle Kitchen is a new small-sized full dine in restaurant located in the busy industrial neighborhood of Chanhassen, Minnesota. We focus on the fusion of quality fresh Southeast Asian cuisine that incorporate beloved Cambodian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Chi
We enjoyed the dining experience and are looking forward to returning. Started with the vegetarian spring rolls that were made with the freshest vegetables. We had the a couple entries of seafood pho witch had lots of flavor and seafood. Also had the egg roll salad, flavor was also good, rice noodles were a little sticky but tasted good. For dessert we had sesame balls that were so good and served warm, delicious. I felt it was priced reasonably and recommend it.

I've eaten here three times in the last six weeks. Having worked in Los Angeles for five years with all their spectacular Asian restaurants it has always been a little disappointing trying to replicate the experience in the Twin Cities, let alone Chanhassen. Menu is diverse, food prep is visually beautiful and tastes as good as it looks. Service is with a smile. Atmosphere could be wonderful (tastefully decorated), though marred slightly by the multiple TVs on to sporting events and American pop music playing.Prices are appropriate for the quality and quantity of the food. I hope they have a long run here in town as it is a truly great restaurant.

I've eaten here twice, and first experience was duplicated in the second. Nice little sushi place, for the middle of Minnesota. I sat at the sushi bar. When I ordered, my sushi/sashimi arrived so quickly, it beat the Miso soup and salad! Amusing during my first visit, irritating the second visit. The servers were all young girls. They were friendly, but not particularly efficient. Overall, good enough. I'll probably be back.
I like the Bourbon Chicken the best, especially with either brown or fried rice. I was actually amazed to find that the caloric intake wasn't too excessive with this choice (better w/o fried rice). Its tasty enough and beats a burger anytime, but please never confuse Leeann Chin with anything close to "real" Chinese food...

Wonderful Korean/Asian dinner starting with Salmon Wontons, Jjin Mandu (Korean potstickers), Crunchy sushi-roll, assorted pickled veggies: garlic, daikon, carrot, and cabbage (Kimchee). Followed with Korean style miso soup and then a shared entrée (Dolsot Bibimbop) comprising stir-fried steak and shredded veggies, plus a soft-cooked egg, all served atop fried-rice in a sizzling hot stone bowl. All dishes were superb and accompanied by several deliciously piquant dipping sauces. Presentation was beautiful and creative. Our server (Nicole G. K.) was very friendly; she kindly explained several of the excellent and flavorful Korean selections and dipping sauces.

We order food here regularly. The food is consistent and good. The last time the resturant made a mistake and we had ordered take out. I arrived 20 min after ordering, waited 35 min, as people came in to eat and recieved there food. I asked what was taking so long and they told me they had made our dishes with peanuts, had to redue our order and dinner was free for the entire family and they were very apologetic.

Welcoming atmosphere with an extensive sushi/sashimi selection. As in Japan the presentation is as important as the food. Kai's has both down pat. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. If you like this type of foo, it is worth any travel required.

I ran into a former neighbor at Happy Garden. Even though she moved several miles away she said she and her husband really like the food so she stopped by on her way home from work for take-out. This has been our experience, too. They feature classic Chinese menu items including a chicken chow mein that is exactly like the chow mein I remember when I was a kid, sixty years ago. Happy Garden also offers a lunch buffet and gave us a senior discount on a recent visit (Monday). Their buffet is not as extensive as many we've experienced in the Twin Cities but the price is right- $5.95/person. Generally, the restaurant can be counted on for good-tasting food. Since we live close by, we usually order take-out. As others have mentioned, the dining room is not particularly filled with ambiance. For classic Chinese cuisine the Happy Garden is a good choice.

A bit unusual to see calamari on the menu at a Japanese/Asian restaurant, but that will be the bistro influence. The calamari were good as were the Gyozo. I had the Mongolian Chicken,. very nice. Certainly not too spicy. Others in the group tried various sushi dishes, which we wall delicious and fresh. The décor is not very pretentious. Looking more like an up market company canteen. But the food makes up for a lot. .

The owner of this restaurant is the best at making customers feel at home and offers great service. It is always bustling and has a wonderful neighborhood feel to it. Unassuming and well presented with excellent variety and fresh ingredients.
