I got the Chicken Lo-Mein which is usually just a conventional Asian dish, but this was way above average. My wife even said it was real good and she does not usually eat Chinese food.Still has Grand Opening sign out front so I'm assuming it's pretty new.Give it a try!

The sashimi pieces were very fresh and tasty, and the rolls are very well made. That being said, this place charges like a 5-star restaurant and produces like a 4 star. There were no dishes that stood out from the pack, so there isn't anything amazing for me to comment about.

The restaurant facade and interior are plain and depressing. Floors are stained, stark empty walls and beat-up furniture.I had a small appetizer. I don't remember what I've ordered, but I know I couldn't figure out what I am eating. I ordered basil pork with rice. It was tasty but the meat was tough and everything was to salty. Dinner portion size was adequate for a man who didn't have lunch that day.The "antique" "silverware" is made of food can thickness metal. The restaurant is the only available to walk across parking lot from hotels. However, the shortest way to get there, without going around trough street, is to overcome a 2 feet retaining wall. Bring your own step ladder or use a single wobbling stone to step down or up, at your own risk. It would be beneficial to restaurant business to build two stairs or a small ramp.I would turn around if I wasn't tired to drive in not familiar neighborhood, looking for another restaurant, in the dark.Thank you ;)
Always exciting to try somewhere new, away from the usual. It was easy to find and park. Decor was nice and modern. Menu had some nice variations. Service was fast and friendly. Food was good and portions generous. Altogether very happy, I would prefer to come for dinner, rather than lunch, maybe next time.

The service was top notch, The owner checked an served tables. Tiny out of the way strip mall. Prices were extremely reasonable and the food could not have been better. The glass noodles with chicken were to die for and the pork fried rice was sooo delish! we had the The blanket shrimp appetizer, awesome, could have made a dinner of it. If I lived there I would visit weekly!

Eating at hibachis is always fun. It has become even more beneficial with my refugee foster daughter, who is always suspicious of what is in our food. It's a good thing to let her watch the food prepared, plus she really loves rice!Lava Grill seems to cook their food with a little less butter and oil than a their places (okay, OBVIOUSLY there is butter and oil used). The cook was also fun, with a cart full of props to make everyone laugh. He also keyed in to how shy my foster kid is and made her laugh repeatedly. I ordered the Colleyville sushi roll as well as hibachi. It was a long time in coming, but tasty.Good food with a smile.

Not a showy hibachi but reasonably good. Expected zucchini and onions but you have to ask. Always have coupons so hunt for them on line.

Construction is a mess around the place... but inside all is forgotten. The quiet atmosphere makes this a perfect meeting and conversation place. The food is good and service friendly. I had the Kung Pao Chicken with 4 on 1-5, the spice and...it was spicy nice.
