This small, friendly Japanese sushi shop in the Southdale area is a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of this popular shopping area. It's quiet, and you can have a conversation with your table mates and a normal speaking volume. Quite rare these days! But we came here to eat, and found their lunch specials, which include miso soup and 2 rolls, to be tasty and inexpensive.Service was friendly and, with 2 sushi chefs on duty, our order for 5 people came quickly. One member of our party doesn't care for sushi. He ordered the beef fried rice and had to take half of it home.Presentation in a sushi shop is part of the experience and in this category, Nakamori performs well, too.Of all the restaurant choices from which to choose in the Southdale area, Nakamori is a welcome addition. Try it.

Naviya's is by far the best Thai food EVER in Minneapolis and there have been and are some other good spots. Having been to Thailand myself, this one is the most authentic and in some cases better than the amazing food I had in Thailand...Also, their Prik Nam PLA (SP??!!) is perfect!! I miss it right now!

We stopped here for a quick lunch. We ordered our usual & it was good as always! Fyi they're currently undergoing construction so that might make the wait a little longer but we were able to get right in this time. We'll be back again!!

P.F. Chang's is a restaurant concept that honors the 2,000-year-old Asian tradition of wok cooking and believes in making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. With a Farm to Wok food philosophy at its core, P.F. Chang's chefs hand-roll dim sum
We were disappointed with this evening meal overall. Previous trips to this restaurant had all been very enjoyable. We ordered an appetizer of chicken lettuce wraps. It was delivered to our table with lettuce that was brown and had holes in it. This was a very noticeable unsightly blemish that never should have been served to anyone. It was a quarter of a head of iceberg lettuce and went down through several of the leaves. Asked server for replacement lettuce which arrived promptly. We ordered two entrees to share. Kung Pao Chicken and Combo Fried Rice. Both were tasty and we enjoyed eating them but noted both of them were drier than normal. The Kung Pao Chicken had no sauce at all on the bottom of the serving dish and the individual ingredients were dry. The fried rice could have been left with more moisture in it. The server was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was fine but we felt the food was not up to the level is was previously.

Stopped in for late lunch. No crowd. Nice restaurant with attentive service. Generous portions, ordered appetizer and two entrees and went home with a doggy bag. Fried Egg Rolls and Seafood Curry were outstanding. Fried bananas with toasted coconut ice cream with chocolate sauce was yummy. Chicken Pad Thai was very good. This is authentic Thai and not Chinese. Dishes come with some heat but not uncomfortably so. Will definitely return to work through menu!!!!

Iâve never eaten at a restaurant with such an interesting mix of cuisines. The Senegalese Peanut Curry was excellent, as were the Phuket Noodles, the Chicken Tinga Tacos, the Cuban Pork, and even the Nachos. While many restaurants will offer a mix of cuisines, usually they donât prepare any one very well, but that was not the case here. I would definitely return.

We stopped for Happy Hour. The Ginger Pear cocktail is a definite "non-repeater." It is boring and tastes, mostly, like just fizzy water. The Good Storm cocktail lacked finesse, was "okay," but not worth ordering again. The spicy yellowtail roll was pretty good (though, not outstanding), the Sendai roll was mostly rice and very boring. The yellowtail sushi was the best item we had--as to be expected. Our server, Sara, provided cordial, professional service.

Had dinner on a Friday evening at this restaurant with a group of friends. Service was great considering the peak dinner time. Taste of food items ordered was delicious. Pricing was reasonable and ambiance was decent. Would certainly very highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This place is absolutely delicious. Yes there would be a long wait when it is great food. If you donât want to wait, order it to go. Its well worth the wait, the servers are outstanding. They even have a buster now that is super fast. Tables do not stay dirty for less than a minute. We will always go back at least once a week. Food portions are huge. Me and my wife share a dish and split an appetizer, still have food to go. New beers to try, saki is cold and hot. Win win!

If you want authentic Italian food with good service, then Broders will not disappoint. The pastas are made in house daily and both entrees we had ( linguine with clams and linguine with Parma ham) were well prepared, nicely presented and delicious. Save room for deserts, they were fabulous also. The restaurant is busy, but get there either early or late because they do not take reservations.
