Sushi lovers welcome! Fresh, traditional sushi and sashimi, regardless of what youâre in the mood for: salmon, tuna, yellowtail, mackerel, uni, and more. We serve all the classic maki rolls, wrapped with just the right amount of sushi rice. Whether you co
Service was outstanding and very friendly, and the sake martinis cocktails we had were delicious. Starter of gyoza was excellent and we shared a sushi and sashimi platter to follow. The platter is certainly enough for the two people stated. The fish was overchilled and almost certainly frozen so sushi snobs wonât be overly happy as it does kill the taste and mouthfeel. It was nicely presented though.

dp An American Brasserie is a signature restaurant by Dominick Purnomo serving lunch and dinner, happy hour & late night menus. It offers an imaginative menu of market driven comfort cuisine, highlighted with a long list of small plates perfect for sharin
Headed to The Egg for an 8 pm performance and stopped here for dinner. Enjoyed the cheese platter with 3 cheeses of choice, fig jam and dots of honey--lovely presentation and delightfully tasty! The complimentary pretzel bites with hot mustard were addictive but we declined seconds as they are calorie laden! Hubby and I shared calamari which is probably the best we've ever had and chicken avocado egg rolls which I enjoyed but hubby does not like dishes with melted cheese. We each enjoyed a glass of wine. Our server, Austin, was spot on.Our only complaint is there is nothing to absorb the sound so it does get rather noisy, particularly on a busy Friday night! Parking on the side street is available and there is a charge until 6 PM. Looking forward to a return visit soon!

Big selection. Fresh preparation. Exceptional quality ingredients. Good service. Fun fancy drinks (with umbrellas!) like the oriental places of my youth. It's everything I had hoped for, and deserves a high recommendation.

Boy itâs taken us a long time to get here. On this cold blustery evening we lucked out. Well, kind of. We only had to walk half of a block in the cold wind after we found a parking place, and while the restaurant was jam packed full with five people standing inside waiting ahead of us, they were all in a single party and a booth for two opened up right away. Now itâs important to keep in mind that this former railcar-style diner (Miss Albany) is so old (1941) that the cold outside permeates the glass windows. Fortunately, there was a heater directly under our table to help offset some of that cold.My wife was happy to see that the place had been cleaned up considerably since it was last open as the Miss Albany Diner several years ago and the original character was still intact. There was a decent selection of craft beers available, even though they were out of the stout that I ordered. So we ended up with a pair of Chatham Brewing stalwarts â Czechârd Past Pilsner and Farmerâs Daughter Rye IPA ($6 each). We started with the Roast Duck Buns ($7 for 2). The duck was tender and full of flavor while the buns were light, puffy and airy.My wife ordered the Tanpopo Spicy Ramen ($12) with an optional Seasoned Boiled Egg ($2). The Chashu pork was tender, the Tonkotsu broth was rich and only slightly spicy to allow all the other flavors to come across.I ordered the Roast Duck Ramen ($13) which comes in a chicken broth. But it wasnât just any old chicken broth. Enriched by the chopped pieces of duck with both bone and fat intact, the broth was both rich and full of flavor. If youâre not accustomed to gnawing meat off of small chopped bones, or someone who eschews the fat and skin of the duck, this dish is not meant for you. Otherwise, the meat is tender and did I mention it adds much richness and flavor to the broth?Service is friendly and efficient even with a full house.

Consistently delicious, generous, fresh, well-spiced food. The house salad with ginger dressing has a winning combination of apples and onions, just one of the interesting flavor pairings from this family-owned, sweetly intimate, always delicious restaurant. The curries are bountiful and flavorful. Try it you'll like it!

As the Chinese takeouts in the area have gone steadily downhill in the past few years, at least in my experience, the Asian Tea House has become our go-to place for both takeout and for sit down meals. The restaurant is nicely decorated, there are a good number of choices, and the owner and people who work there are very friendly and accommodating.

The super buffet has had numerous owners in the past decade. It's always been good but during dinner rush the food is the freshest, I've been there after 7pm and the food is super cold

Iâm sorry to say this is the closest Chinese place to my house. I donât go very often and I tend to forget my previous take out experience. In an effort to preserve my opinion, here are my thoughts: fried rice â I ordered a quart of pork fried rice because I really like the stuff. What I got for my $6.70 was basically a quart of rice â looked like Uncle Benâs, maybe 4 tablespoons of chopped roast pork and a few tablespoons of onions. No vegetables, no bok choy, no bean sprouts, no egg. Usually thereâs a little color from soy sauce â not at Double Dragon. Steamed dumplings â thick, doughy wrapper, bland dipping sauce. Red accented Broccoli & Garlic Sauce â because itâs supposed to be âhot and spicy.â No luck â should be called âbroccoli in bland brown sauce.â This place is about as far from Chinese cooking as possible â no flavor, no imagination, no reason to come back.

My husband and I were looking for a place close to home to have some sushi and hibachi and decided to try this restaurant and we are very glad we did. Their specialty rolls (we tried two - the Christmas Roll and Sexy on the Beach Roll) were out of this world. My husband had steak hibachi which includes rice, veggies, soup/salad, etc. and he said it was delicious and I had the spicy maki combo which was equally delicious. We chatted with the owner and the entire experience was one we'll have to duplicate because we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and we were about 3 minutes from home. Can't go wrong with that, right?

Ordered take-out while staying in Albany area. Food was tasty. They have vegan options on the menu, but still good to check confirm. They are able to make items that would normally have fish sauce (such as Pad Thai/Gaeng Pangang) vegan, upon request...although it does take a bit longer. Place is kind of out of the way in what seemed like residential community and only saw street parking.
