Reviews on Asian food in Dusseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, Dusseldorf is a regional economic powerhouse straddling the banks of the Rhine River. Altstadt is not just Dusseldorf's lovely old town, but also where the city's nightlife is based and where Altbier, its native dark beer, is plentiful. Dusselforfians take their beer seriously. Königsallee (Ko to the locals), Dusseldorf's famous shopping street, has many high-end stores. And the Museum Kunst Palast has one of the Rhineland's best art collections.

A reservation is a MUST. And if you going in a weekend, please make your reservations in advance. Yabase Has to be the best Japanese restaurant in Düsseldorf! The sashimi is fresh, the rice is soft and easy to swallow. A must try for all their dishes! And order the Riesling for the best pairing.

The restaurant is regularly attended by Korean people, the food quality was good.Vast options in the menu, including many grilled dishes. The service was pretty fast even though the restaurant was full, I suggest to book in the weekends. The only thing that disappointed me a bit was the too intense smell from the kitchen.I would recommend it for laid-back dinners with friends.

While looking for a sushi place for a team dinner, I came across Den through other TripAdvisor reviews. Although the number of reviews was limited because of the fact that Den opened just recently, they were so positive I wanted to check this restaurant out for myself. And I can tell you...we were not disappointed at all! Truly fresh sashimi, very tasteful sushi (the Surf and Turf was my favorite - definitely try that!) and amazingly succulent teppanyaki salmon and beef!On top of that, it's a really nice and modern interior, friendly staff, and good sake that complements the food to top it all off.In short definitely a place I would recommend and I will most certainly come back here whenever I'm in Düsseldorf.

Atmosphere is fun with nicely designed decor & great selections of wines. The service was quick and attentive. I like the mix of traditional and innovative fusion with other oriental cuisines. Presentation is amazing and you get the sense that the food and experience are authentic and served and presented with great pride and artistry.Highly recommended in Dusseldorf.

We had lunch here during a trip with friends to Dusseldorf and the food was quite authentic. We have been to Japan several times and it is not exactly the same quality but is a lot better than a lot of "Japanese" restaurants abroad. The place was crowded and the clientele was a nice mixture of locals, tourist and Japanese. Some of the staff were Japanese and all dishes we had were tasty and came close to the food we ate in Japan. The unagi was quite good and Asahi beer is served on tap. Sometimes this is enough to be happy :)

Maybe it's because I'm less familiar with Japanese food but my experience is not that superlative. The staff is friendly, there is a lot of people in this restaurant...so...It means that it must be good. But my ramen existed with chicken but with a lot of fat instead of chicken. So I expected something more quality.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and had to queue about 45min. Unfortunately a waste of time in terms of ramen. Yes, portions are big. If thatâs all you care about you found the right place. We cannot understand the hype. They are unfortunately not at all organized like restaurants usually are in Japan. Most of the time we spent waiting 2-6 spots at the counter were left free although plenty of people were waiting. I asked why and the waiter told me he doesnât know. Later I asked him what kind of of dipping sauce they use for the gyoza. He didnât know either. Once seated we had gyoza (good, but the pan fried side wasnât cross enough), shyo ramen and miso ramen. Shyo ramen broth was too meaty. Miso ramen was a total disaster and tasted like no ramen weâve ever tried anywhere before, including Japan. The noodles were way too hard. The meat slices were too thick and of very poor quality. In general the list of ingredients is poor. The ramen only comes with onions, spring onions and meat. For that itâs also too expensive.

We had dinner here with a group of 6 and everybody was surprised about the quality and the taste of the food!! The service our group got was amazing, couldn't be better. The wine suggestion from our waiter was also fantastic and it was just 20 euros per bottle! Next time one of us will visit Dusseldorf we will definitely be back. One tip, make a reservation we did it as well and as we entered it didnt seem necessary but after one hour the restaurant was completely full (also with a lot of Asians, so it must be good!!).

A really good experience of food and service. Ripoff prices....Sushi and Sashimi are way apart from a great Micherlin Star experience..its just ordinary Japanese food! Whý so expensive? Boring! Where does this hipe come from? For a Michelin Star, I am ready for something new! Creative! I did not find that at that evening. The service was okay, but nobody had any idea about the wines...how could You get a Michelin Star?
