Reviews on Asian food in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Dortmund has become a center of high-tech industry, but back in the day, it was one of Germany's first brewing centers, and Dortmunder beer is definitely worth tasting in a local bar. Visit the Reinoldkirche or the Marienkirche, or venture south of town to the ruins of Hohensyburg Castle. December is an especially festive time to visit Dortmund—one of Germany's biggest Christmas markets takes over the center of town.

I have been there with friends for dinner and had a few take aways also. The place itself is not very big, so if you want to go there with friends it is a good idea to book a table. The food is just great! During my stays in India I had quite a lot of good foo, an the food in Sweet Chilli is just the same, very authentically. Just a great place to get a bite!

Arrived at 8pm and the restaurant was quiet so no delay or waiting to be served. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Menu choice is excellent and quite vast so we went for a bento box, miso and teriyaki chicken. Overall it was very good and the sushi and sashimi was excellent and so so fresh. Overall we enjoyed our evening and had no complaints. Would definitely revisit

A very clean and good Sushi restaurant , a bit of all kind of Sushi is available here , the system is a bit strange where you order from a device on your table , and then the device is telling you when your order will be on your table , cool , but in my opinion you loss the human touch , any how back to the food , the fish is very fresh and nicely done , the prices are good , and the service is also good

We were driving from Italy to Netherlands and decided to stop somewhere for a meal. With a little bit of searching Namu came up as a top suggestion. After calling they reserved a table for us outside and even though it took us nearly 3 hours to reach Dortmund the table was there. The food and service was great. I love very spicy food and it was really really good. We will go back there just for a day trip from Amsterdam.

Staying in Dortmund, I found this by chance. Very welcoming and friendly staff...and of course great Vietnamese food at a very reasonable price. Whether a sole business traveller, couple or group everyone gets the same good quality service. Well worth it even if Vietnamese is not on your normal list of international foods....

Dumpling, noodles and craft beer restaurant. All our noodles and dumplings are homemaed. We providing a typical nothern chinese cuisine. We have five beers on draft. Easy to reach by public transprotation by using the Stadtbahn U41 until final stop in Hoe
Dumplings and craft beers - that has to be a concept for a heavenly experience. Thatâs what I thought when I first saw the descriptions and reviews of this cute little restaurant. It also sounded too good to be true - home made âjiaoziâ (=dumplings) in Dortmund? Once I visited the place it lived up to all of my expectations. I havenât had this good dumplings since I lived in Beijing - that was just 8-9 weeks but taught me the love for the combination of good dumplings and good beer (yes, the Chinese may not all eat their dumplings with beer but my Northern European descent demands a cold beer with a tasty meal). This place is an absolute gem - the pan fried and steamed dumplings, and various noodle dishes combined with an excellent (and apparently constantly changing and upgraded) beer menu is a perfect recipe for an evening with friends. I loved especially the pan fried lamb dumplings with spring onions, the beef dumplings with green celery and the noodles with chicken, chili, garlic, soy sauce and spring onion. We also tried the cucumber with shill and stoic as starter on our first visit. So far we have only been here twice but being determined to work our way through the beer menu, (and the dumplings menu) we will be back for more soon again. We love good food and good beer as well! So why not share it with people like you! We are happy when people love our food and feel happy to be our guest! Thanks for the compliments!

This restaurant was right outside of the Pullman hotel where I lived for a few months on a business "trip". It's tasty Mongolian BBQ and was very convenient, but really isn't anything special. Do I go back each business trip? Yes. If I only had a weekend or night in Dortmund would I go here? Probably not.

Absolutely fantastic food. Small sharing plates done with thought and care. Excellent vegetarian selection. Lovely service that was balanced between attentive and leaving us to eat. We were travelling through and it was close to our hotel, but would be willing to coordinate future travel plans to include eating here again.

We were heading to Nhy Star because of the high rating on tripdavisor. And it was very good. Nice Staff, excellent food. I had a soupe and chicken sticks upfront. It is avery good cost-benefit ratio.
