Overall 8/10Food 10/10Service 7/10Black cod/Arabian tempura sushi/wagyu beef sushi/spicy edamame 10/10The food was absolutely on point, no disappointments there. However I was quite annoyed with the service towards the end, the management kept observing our table and then came up to ask if we need anything, within 15 minutes we were asked 3 times. They made us feel that they wanted us to leave so they can give the table to their customer. Well I had a reservation so didnât appreciate such behaviour.

With its uncompromising standard of Cantonese cuisine and creative fusion bar food, great selection of drinks in artistic fashion and trendy DJs, Shanghai Club will set a new trend in Doha for the hip crowd and Chinese food lovers. It is a perfect venue f
Itâs a shame the food and service donât live up to the enthusiasm of the restaurant team and the wonderful setting. We were a party of 6. We waited over 20 minutes before we finally got drinks (aside from water) brought to the table, despite numerous requests. Yes it was busy but certainly not full, with several empty tables. The food was just ok. Nothing fantastic, quite bland and served luke warm. The vegetarian options made especially by the chef for one of our party were items not available on the menu. These were by far the best offerings. The team who served us were helpful and did their best to ensure we enjoyed our brunch. However, J W Marriott you need to sharpen your pencils and sort out your menu and the service. With fewer customers and more dining options, itâs a tough world out there, and based on this experience, sadly I wouldnât bother coming back.Dear JacqME,We appreciate that you have taken the time to share with us your feedback. It saddens us to know that we were not able to meet your expectations. We will look into it and rest assured that your comments will be raised to our team. We hope you will give us the chance to welcome you again. We would like to be in-touched with you and discuss with you further about your concerns, kindly email [email protected] or send us a private message on the hotel's Facebook page so we can call you or email you.Sincerely,Hotel Management

It came recommend. And the Friday night 195QAR deal for cocktails and appetizers was perfect for two groups of friends (who finally found babysitters on the same evening having chosen a corresponding night without commitments) to catch up on news, events and share some guaranteed laughs. However, when the first interaction with the waiter consisted of him simply reading out âgin; rum; vodka or tequilaâ from a âcocktail menuâ (piece of paper in his hand...because the printer broke) we knew it would not be a wholly relaxing evening but one where we would have to do a certain amount of âheavy liftingâIt took two attempt to actually get a description of the cocktails on offer. Once the order emerged...we were left very disappointed. Iâd seen an impressive array of glassware in the bar on the way in...but I suppose when one is ordering from a âspecialsâ menu...the word âspecialâ becomes oxymoronic. The drinks were, quite frankly, dreadful. Overemphasis on the âblue aestheticâ imbibed by the curaçao made two of the drinks an unbalanced ethanol mess. These four drinks did not represent the best of the bar but rather the best in gross profit. But hereâs my key point; it should be irrelevant how much the guest is paying, a good bartender always makes a good drink. If itâs not possible to give your guest the best experience with the simplest of recipes...how can they be trusted to produce with flavors and ingredients more complex? We quickly switched to the 2 for 1 with happy hour drink prices and we stuck to the beer and wine section. Except they didnât have the Sauvignon Blanc. Thatâs okay. Restaurants run out of wine. But you must tell the guest first! Then they can reselect without the waiter hovering over...like the failure to choose an alternative glass of wine was a failure of the guest to âthink on their feetâThe food was good but not enough to push up this score. Service is about reading the guest. We shouldnât have to first negotiate with a waiter who then negotiated with a manager who we then have to call over separately to ensure there was a fair resolution of our concerns. So hereâs my feedback: If a printer breaks, remember the drinks. Donât see things that go wrong as something to hide, but as a way to engage guests.Make ALL drinks with passion and care. Get your decisions about how to resolve a guestâs issues made quickly and transparently. A manager should be over first and foremost to assist a guests complaint. Treat people as guests in your home, not contributors to spreadsheet.Hello DAWolfe_11,Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review along with the precise details that you have mentioned. The first restaurant by Chef Morimoto to open in the Middle East, at Mondrian Doha. Inspired by ancient Japan and a key landmark in the city of Nara, Morimoto is adorned with energetic and graceful artworks by Japanese painter, Hiroshi Senju. Experience l
Incredibly disappointed with our Saturday evening birthday gathering at the famed Morimoto. We were a party of 12, arriving before 7pm for the happy hour which ends at 8pm. QR95 for 3 dishes sounded decent and great for sharing, but when the dishes take super long and some donât even arrive (we did not get 2 dishes) on a relatively quiet evening, you wonder what the awards were for. While the food tasted decent, the chocolate sphere desert for QR80 was a complete mess to eat. Worst of all, the waiter had already robbed the entire table of our napkins. Overall a very pretentious venue run by appallingly poorly trained staff. Thank you very much for visiting and for your valuable feedback. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and suggestions with us. Please feel free to share your contact details as we would be glad to hear further on your experience.Thank you once again and I look forward to welcoming you back to Morimoto Doha.Best Regards,Sadbir SharmaDirector of Food & Beverage

I really liked this restaurant! I went here with my family for a celebration and the atmosphere and the food was really nice. I would recommend going if you are a fan of Asian food and are looking for a tasty meal. You could probably find cheaper Asian food other places in Doha but I thought the menu was nice and long (there were vegetarian options) and the staff were also friendly.Hello 22hms,Many thanks for this excellent review. Especially "the staff were also friendly" and "the atmosphere and the food was really nice" part. We're so glad to read that you had an enjoyable time at Spice Market. We hope to see you and your family every time, not just for celebrations :) MariaE-Insider

We were in Villaggio Mall, and decided to try this place because we had a two-for-one voucher. The restaurant was quite packed because of the weekend buffet probably, but there was no problem getting a table. The buffet was really cheap at less than USD20 per person, and half that with the voucher. Not a bad selection for starters, main dishes and dessert, but food was really average. Fizzy drinks was included, but they try to get us to order from the drinks menu which was extra, but still cheap really.

This was my third time going to the business lunch buffet. I can say that the quality and taste of the food is consistent. It's appetizing and enjoyable and the price is reasonable especially if you have offers from the local apps.Dear Valued Guest,Greetings from C.taste! Fortunate are those who land up at the Q-Lounge, Banana Island, Doha. My family and I had heard about, and even been to, resorts of repute but when we arrived at Banana Island, it overtook our expectations. The hypnotic awesome entrance, the clean-clear beach, the suites, the swimming pool, the lush-green foliage, the serenity, and the silent means of commutation, all add up to an unprecedented experience! We had heard about Paradise, but had never been there till we set foot on the Banana Island. It is said that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach - and no one knows better than the Great Chef, Abhinandan and his team that is wedded to serve only to exercise a pull like a magnet! Abhinandan's team is not only expert in culinary skills, but also in beating everyone else when it comes to winning hearts!!The only aspect that we did not appreciate was to leave from that Paradise. But still, we consider ourselves fortunate on being to the Q-Lounge; there's a Queue of joy waiting to splurge on you!! Thank you, dear Abhinandan, Harshit and the ever-smiling cutie pie from Bengal, India. Lots of Love and Blessings!!Dear Mr./Ms.Jasperdeii24Thank you so much for taking the time to review following your excellent dining experience in Q Lounge It is always rewarding to read feedback from our valuable guests following their visit to Banana Island.Every single great review is a motivation for Q Lounge kitchen and service teams to keep creating amazing stories and look to exceed our guest's expectations.Thank you one more time for such warm feedback and looking forward to welcoming you again.Regards,Promod TK
