On entering the Tamarind Tree you are faced with a long dining room with tables either side and a central walkway. The welcome was fast and genuine taking us to our pre booked table. The menu contained the usual Indian fare at reasonable prices and was very enjoyable.

Went to this restaurant and was not disappointed. Food was absolutely beautiful and so flavourful, especially the lamb chops. Curries were perfect and naans were cooked to perfection. Canât complain as food was fairly quick and service was great.

Read the reviewws and thought we would try the restaurant bcause it was on our way home to Frimlet . Wow wasnt busy but very attentive staff and food was wonderful. Top quality curry dishes and sides had teh garlic chilli chicken and my wife had teh prawn dansak the portions are more that expected and it was a shame to leave any feel absolutely full now. Very resonably priced and I would say they are a hidden treasure. We will be back.

I have lost count of the number of times I have eaten here. If it were a pub it would be my local. Indeed, there is always a table of people doing just that, drinking and not eating. A note to the owners, perhaps do bar snacks. It looks better that a group drinking pints whilst others are eating plus you will make more money. Eric remains as the mainstay of the restaurant. That man works so hard but keeps smiling. All the other staff are friendly and efficient. I love the food. I know not everyone agrees. That's their right. I personally hate those 'don't eat here' reviews. Every place has an off day and indeed how do we know that the reviewer did not just have an off day? So overall, doing well.

This is our third visit and again we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and service friendly and attentive. Definitely the best place for this cuisine in the area . We live in a nearby town and none of our local restaurants compare . We will be visiting again very soon .

When we first tried this place about three years ago it immediately became our favourite local Chinese restaurant, and we have eaten here at least a couple of times a month ever since. The food is excellent and the service is exemplary. The mock (vegetarian) "duck" with pancakes is my personal favourite, but everything I've tried (i.e. all the veggie options on the menu) has been good. When I spent a month doing "veganuary" they were helpful in pointing out what was dairy-free as well as vegetarian too. Not sure why it's taken so long to get round to writing a review, other than perhaps not wanting to encourage people to go in case it makes getting a table more difficult! Not the cheapest in the area but worth it.

I have visited Pan on different occasions, and I have never been disappointed. The menu is always interesting, diverse and innovative. I like experimenting and try different foods, so it suits me perfectly. Staff is always very friendly and knowledge about what is on. The atmosphere and ambience is relaxed, but with a certain buzz. I like going back because nis never the same. Definitely worth a try!

I have visited Kabirs several times in the past 6 months and unfortunately have grown disappointed with the quality of the curries. A few years ago I remember the food being good, but recently I have found the curries bland and not very tasty at all. I hope that they improve as the options are limited in Crowthorne.

We came here for an 80th birthday party. The food was extremely slow to arrive and the waiters kept making empty promises as to when we would receive the dishes. When the food finally arrived, it was bland and lacking in flavour and spice. I can only imagine they are trying to cater to a Western palate. Won't be coming back here again.Dear krisThank you for taking extra time to write .Let me explain readers about the situation of your table please if I may so.Very simple-1) your booking was from 6:30 whereas first lots about 8 of you arrived at 6:45 after wards and again you had to wait rest of your party for extra 15 minutes. That means you started to make late yourself from your side without letting us know as you did not value our time.2) you were advised itâs a long delay as was started from your side and the restaurant was very busy. Even you had said your self good food needs to be cooked properly.As proper cooking takes more time than microwave.3) I were checking about the expectations of your food myself NUMEROUS TIMES and your FIRM answer was about the food above the expectations. If you would like to remember , you were asked about the quality of the food and your answer was above your expectations.Dear browsers, kindly advise us if we can improve on this.NOW if you wanted to give us the constructive feedback you could have given at those occasions but you preferred to pull us back as you did not wanted to be looked after properly. We went to rice on Sunday, it was for my Mums birthday. Service was brilliant, food was excellent, everything was done as asked, table was decorated, with flags up saying happy Birthday. Cake was brought to the table after the meal, with candles on, music on and we sang happy birthday, there was also happy birthday on the ceiling above the table.You don't know what your missing if you don't go there. We will be going back. We had the buffet, eat as much as you like for nineteen pounds.
