Firstly although they claim to be a Vietnamese restaurant the cuisine is Asian in general with numerous dishes found in other Asian countries such as Thailand, Indonesia etc. Having said that the food is delicious. Using fresh ingredients the flavours are tasty with portions reasonably generous. The menu has a very long list of dishes with too many choices in my view which makes decisions rather difficult.Staff are helpful and friendly. The big plus is that it is BYO wines. Would return again.

Welcome to Miss Chow's, one of Perth's best Asian eateries. We offer tasty dumplings, hearty meals, a licensed bar and sweet desserts for everyone!
Visited twice on a recent trip to Perth. The food is really delicious, everything fresh and tasty. The service was a little slow and very casual and could be improved on. Itâs tge food that will keep you coming back!
We were heading down Napoleon Street on Saturday morning en route to our usual breakfast haunt when we spotted that Mel & Co had opened so we thought weâd give it a try. Great decision! Their breakfast tapas board option is fantastic. We went for the truffled, porcini and Parmesan scrambled eggs, the best patatas bravas weâve had in ages - worked so well with the kimchi, delicious crab cakes with a sour green apple salad, sweet potato and black bean fritters and mouth watering sautéed mushrooms with goats cheese and pine nuts- all beautifully presented and served with lovely seeded sour dough toast. Itâs like having your own tailor made breakfast buffet, but heaps better. Canât wait to go back and try the other options. Super friendly service, great coffee and a good selection of teas too. A very welcome new entrant to the Strip.

Staying not far away to this restaurant, we called in on a Wednesday night and because it's quite small, it looked busy.Food was nice, and reasonably priced. Drink - BYO with a $4 charge per glass.Bottle shop just around the corner, which was luckily still open.

Exceptionally friendly guys with lovely authentic currys and rice wraps. We enjoyed sitting outside with byo drinks while the custom this balmy Saturday evening was mostly take away. Only negative was a selfish Cottesloe matron who left her diesel SUV running alongside us! We look forward to returning, parking close in to block such behaviour.

The Jade Court Chinese Restaurant (JC) is on Stirling Highway, near the corner of Leake Street in Cottesloe (see pic).Arriving for a mid-week lunch, we climbed the narrow stairs to the spacious dining area â passing an âhonour boardâ of staff members, going back to 1982. This is truly an authentic Cantonese (Australian) restaurant â with a deep history in Perth. Enduring success is clearly evident from the culinary awards that adorn the walls. On the two occasions we have visited recently, there have not been many customers â perhaps reflecting the state of the economy or just a lack of demand for lunchtime dining in this style? The dining room is richly furnished in a classic Chines style with circular and loge seating. Linen tablecloths and quality table and glassware make you feel special. JC has a good wine list with several quality wines available by glass at a reasonable price.Given it was lunchtime, we ate quite lightly but really enjoyed the Braised Beef in Satay Sauce, Spicy Salt and Pepper Prawns and Special Fried Rice. The lightness, crispness and freshness of the prawn dish was enough to make you want to return for - sure (see pics).Judy and I can recommend JC for those with fond memories of traditional Chinese Cantonese dining in Perth over the past few decades â harder to find now!

The Himalayan looks quite classy as far as Indian/Nepalese restaurants go, with tasteful decor, comfortable chairs, well-spaced tables and nice cutlery, crockery etc - all befitting the salubrious suburb in which it is located. Service was a notch above average too. Not surprisingly, its prices are a bit higher than your average suburban Indian, but not by much (or as much as you might expect). Lots of very tempting options on the menu, including an excellent array of vegetarian dishes. And the taste and presentation of the food matched the upmarket feel of the restaurant. Enjoyed a very satisfying meal and would very happily return.

Tsunami serves authentic Japanese food using fresh Australian ingredients. Local tuna, Australian salmon, WA north west prawns, SA wagyu beef and more. Chef Tetsuya Sakamoto has experience in Tokyo, Dubai, Melbourne (Nobu) and Perth. There is a teppanyaki
We dined at Tsunami Ko - Teppanyaki Restaurant. Definitely not!We sat around the table to watch the chef cook. Nice select from the menu of vegetarian, chicken, beef and seafood to choose from. Chef started the cooking with lighting the hot plate on fire.Thatâs the end of it. Rest of the food were all cooked together and served on a plate. Not what I experience normally at A Teppanyaki restaurant. Food is usually cooked in front of you, 1 item at a time so that is can be eaten hot. It can be a show too. - chef demonstrating their skills in tossing the utensils to show some flare.Food was ordinary for the price, average $50 per set menu. Go somewhere else! Try Nobu at Crown.Service was also poor. Did not take any pictures - donât border.Hi Patrick. We're disappointed you didn't enjoy your experience. The majority of people do. Nobu is $120 per person for the cheap menu and $188 for the better one so I guess it could be expected to be better. One would hope so at that price. Although many people have said ours was better. Just saying ...Regarding the show, Jaymon usually does a spatula show and writes happy birthday in sale upside down if it's your birthday. He will do onion volcano, egg tossing etc if he is asked. Perhaps you came on a busy nWe have special omakase menus available also at that price range. Perhaps it would be more fair to compare those with Nobu. Our beef is all Wagyu with the majority sourced direct from the farmer, Mayura Station, in South Australia. They consistantly win awards for best producer in Australia.

Spontaneous dinner for two. No expectations. Went to look at the "sculptures by the sea" then went looking for something to eat. Beautiful evening and we wanted to sit outside close to the ocean. The service was great and the menu was explained and suggestions were made. The meal was very tasty and good value
