I don't usually go to buffets because they are a quantity over a quality. Well I did, just hungry. I did not partake in any dishes with rice, noodles, or heavy carbs. First off, sushi was terrible. Just tried the fish...no rice. Food was absolutely nothing special. The service on the other hand was very attentive. My unsweetened iced tea was refilled twice. Selection was pretty good but did not eat many carbs or sweet dishes. Maybe I would return.
When you don't wasn't to dress in community clothes and prefer the comfort of eating in your own home, Wah Wah is a great alternative. My family had used their menu at least bi-weekly for thirty years, I told the owners daughter that I put her through college and this young high school math teacher daid( no you didn't , I got a scholarship.

I have been going to this restaurant for years so I am a little biased. The food is great, Doc and the gang are great and the price is right. The place is a little dated but thats what makes it so nice. Quick takeout too! I highly recommend.

After driving past this restaurant 100s of times, we decided to give it a try. The second we walked in our thought was "wow". It just wasn't what we anticipate when going for fusion food. The eating area itself isn't even visible upon entering! It was happy hour when we got there, so we headed to the bar, which was located upstairs! There was only one spot open, and no chair there. As I turned to head back to the front to ask about using a table I was asked by a waiter if he could help me. I told him my "problem" and he said to wait. Within a minute he was back with 2 stools, asked a couple of patrons if they would mind closing up some of the space, and suddenly we were comfortable at the bar. That's service! I was shocked by the pricing (low), for both the drinks and the happy hour food specials! Alexis, the barmaid, was great. Both drinks & food were fantastic! We never made it to the dining room! We're already looking forward to our next visit, which I'm sure will be very soon.....probably next weekend. :)

Its a small restaurant, so book ahead. We love the private curtained room. The sushi is fresh and the drinks are strong. Its a local spot thats perfect for a night out with friends.

I have tried many sushi restaurants and this is, hands down my favorite! Great service and a very warm cozy atmosphere. I love the captains booths they now have. The Pink Lady Roll is a must try and the Amazing Roll is, well... Amazing! I have been here many times and have never been disappointed.

The food was decent though nothing special. Staff was polite and friendly. Ambiance is ok. Give it a try but do t go out of your way.

This was our first time at this restaurant. Very friendly staff. Service was great! Appetizers and entrees were delicious! We will be going back next time we are in the neighborhood!

Was recommended to this restaurant by a friend...Atmosphere: Modern, clean, but refreshing. Black and rust tones play off touches of ancient Japanese symbolism and statues. Food: Sushi/Sashimi for two was gorgeous and tasty. Also had the ceviche appetizer (salmon) which was not traditional, but very good. All tasted very fresh and well prepared. Service: Attentive but not intrusive. Water glasses stayed filled and waiter would quietly come over to ask if anything else was needed. Would I come back? Will definitely be back, compared to other sushi places we've been to, this place delivers. Give it a try!

My wife and I had an excellent lamb dinner at Village Lanterne Restaurant. Our server Madelaine was great. There German food is the best we ever had.
