Chinese/Cantonese two doors away from The last Viceroy which has been reviewed on this site.
The worst most repulsive, stinking, disgusting food you will ever have from a Chinese restaurant/takeaway.We were advised that the food would be ready at a certain time so we arrived on time only to be told we would have to wait another 20 mins, ok we tbought, good food is worth waiting for.WRONG!!!!!Half duck looked like a ball of fat not rendered, not crispy and tasted like dog what's it. Vegetables all dried up, sauce was ok but then it did come out of a bottle!!!! No sauce provided with dried up chicken balls which were probably left over from yesterday. Tasted and looked disgusting.Egg fried rice was steamed and had what looked like scrambled egg thrown into it.it was soggy and shiny, not friedKung Po Chicken had more water chestnuts in it than in the original tin they came out of. Dish should be called Kung Po Water chestnuts, cheap skates.Chips were balanced and rancid. We didn't even open the other containers.I called the manager, he wasn't interested, all he did was shout at me down the phone and told me to bring the food back.We couldn't do anything as we had all been out drinking, so no one could drive - get the picture???All I can say is thank God for Cadburys Chocolate Wholenut family bar!!KONGS - YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO YOUR FELLOW RESTRAUNTEURS, NO WONDER YOUR RESTRAUNT IS EMPTY MOST NIGHTS, LOCALS DON'T USE YOU SO VISITORS BEWARE.EAT HERE OR TAKE AWAY AT YOUR PERIL!!

Vivasa is an authentic Indian restaurant, serving both South Indian and North Indian cuisine. Vivasa is a word of Sanskrit origin, meaning âSun Godâ. And a feast is what we intend to offer you. A feast of tastes, a feast of sights, and a feast of delightf
Yesterday was my first visit to Vivasa and the food server was authentic Indian one. We had North Indian dishes even though they serve both. We had a vegetarian starter platter of samosa, onion rings and paneer and I was not disappointed, rather I was delighted. For the mains, we ordered Dal Makhni, Bhendi and Mixed veg and asked them to make them spicy. Had these with Roti and Jeera rice and my taste buds were quite pleased to have tasted such a good food. My meat-eating friends were happy with their dishes too. Will certainly visit the restaurant again!

Took my family to the restaurant in Bourne End because i have had several take aways from the one in Flackwell Heath and all I can say itâs worth the trip from Oxfordshire, the King Prawn Shashlik is amazing along with the Chicken Tikka. The service was very efficient and we enjoyed the experience and will certainly be returning. Well done guys!

Indian Restaurant.
I always find it difficult to choose what to eat at this restaurant as they have a large selection of items on the menu. All the dishes are really good and because of that you want to order one of everything. Thatâs why luckily the staff here can be relied upon to choose for you and this time, once again, they chose some great dishes. When you want to try everything itâs great to get a custom platter of a wide selection of grilled items each one cooked really well and full of flavour. The curry dishes also were packed with flavour and just at the right spice level. The naan here is the best naan I have had at any Indian restaurant, soft, light and tasty without any hard burnt bits. I could have eaten 10 of them. Again the selection chosen by the owner was perfect for the curry, garlic and cheese. This was a great meal and the two people I bought here were equally impressed with the taste of the food.

The Thai Orchid was reasonable. The food was good, portions were reasonably sized, service was good but it needs a tidy up. Felt tired and not well maintained.I would go again.

Authentic Japanese food, serving Sushi, Sashimi, Japanese Curry, Soup and many more delicious side dishes.
Visited this small restaurant with someone who grew up in Japan. The opportunity to speak Japanese was great for her and for the staff. The chef and his wife moved to England about 12 years ago intending to stay a year...opened a restaurant and here they are! The restaurant is small, formerly a terraced house I think. Food is definitely authentic Japanese, prepared on site. We found the sushi was acceptable, everything else was truly great. An authentic taste of Japan in Maidenhead.Popular so consider booking a table. We turned up at 7 to find the restaurant full but they were able to offer us a table for 8pm.

I have been going to this restaurant for many years and have never been disappointed. The food is of the highest quality, and is accompanied by five star service. The staff are attentive and friendly. They constantly replenish empty glasses! It is always busy so would recommend booking. Flowers are spectacular outside the restaurant!

Since opening in 1982, Spice Merchant Cookham (formerly Cookham Tandoori) has earned a superb reputation for fine Indian cuisine in Berkshire. As the eldest restaurant in the group, Cookham initiated the success for Spice Merchant Group and continues to d
After our last visit some time ago we were reluctant to re-visit as going back to a 5star place often disappoints, it didn't at all.Warm welcome into a busy place, slightly different choices on the menu so it took sometime to order but they were patient on a busy evening when others would want to rush you through to get the next people in.Reasonably priced drinks wine very drinkable. The starters looked overpriced and we thought they were cashing in on the good reviews but when they arrived the size of the chicken portions took us back. Each of us had three large pieces of chicken enough to constitute a main portion. We tasted each others and both thought the meals were excellent each had its own taste and was really fresh tasting.Mains and side came in a reasonable amount of time. Again the quality of the food was excellent. The tandoori roti was impressive and everything else was beautifully presented and cooked. The quality of the ingredients stands out whether its the tender chicken or lamb, the excellent spices or simple things like the bread. We will return, yes, but probably on a weekday evening when they are not quite so busy.Dear GreyTrippers,Thanks so much for your thorough review- your comments are really appreciated.Itâs always so nice to hear feedback from returning customers. We look forward to your next visit.Kind regards,Spice Merchant Group

Boutique. family run Thai restaurant serving authentic Thai food cooked the traditional way.
Fantastic food. Very traditional thai menu in this quaint little restaurant. Most authentic Chicken and Cashew nut stir fry i've had outside of Thailand. Lamb with black pepper and Pad Thai was also very tasty! Handmade coconut ice cream and traditional mango and sticky rice was perfect for desert. Very friendly and attentive service. We sat in the garden out the back as it was a warm evening which was lovely. Really pretty and laid back. Will certainly visit again before the end of summer. Booking a must for a garden table on a weekend! Just one ask.... Please put a Massaman curry on the menu!!
