I am a local in Chuncheon.This restaurant, I have visited for almost 25 years!Actually Dakgalbi restaurants in Chuncheon had some different recipes, and this restuarant one of the classical DakGalbi restuarants who invented and served its own recipe 25 years ago. Now the recipe is so famous between DakGalbi restaurants, and they all copied this one, indeed.If you want to taste the real and original Chuncheon Dakgalbi, take this place.It would be...Not so famous or not so delicious like other franchised restaurants..But this is the Original.Don't confused by the advertisement which tells that they are more than 30 years old and they are real original..

Found out about this place on tripadvisor. Had slight difficulties looking for it because nothing was in English in the restaurant. We identified it by the phone number outside the restaurant. But it was worth it. The food was excellent we must say. And the staffs were very obliging even though they couldn't speak a word of English. Even the chef came out of the kitchen to assist us. All we can say is...excellent food and wonderful staffs.

Chuncheon is well known for its dakgalbi (ëê°ë¹). Visited this place with friends for a catchup dinner. We actually chose this place knowing it is quite a "known" galbi restaurant (ì°ë¯¸ëê°ë¹) in the area. There were really really a lot of ëê°ë¹ restaurants nearby even in the same street. You can find a whole stretch of dakgalbi restaurants anywhere in chuncheon, it's a matter whether we can find a really good one or not (or perhaps all are nice, I can't really comment on that since I had only tried one). However, this one was really good. The portion is good enough. But I would want to try from other restaurants if there is a chance to go again next time.

First time here but we felt welcomed. The wait staff were kind and quick. Food tasted great and as expected. It was hot but since we sat under shades it felt pretty cool. There was a pond with small water fall, sounding nature.

I was browsing through naminara republic website when i chance upon this halal restaurant..and so i told wife we have to go there when we in korea..went there in the morning around 10+ am so there were no crowds yet..i ordered an octopus seafood udin and wife ordered chicken cutlet with korean sauce..wonderful..my udon broth were amazing..they have extensive menu..please do pop by and eat when you are here..they serve authentic korean food that is halal certified..taste local food and eat with peace.. will definitely return if im there again..

Took a package tour 3 in 1 with Klook.First stop was Garden of Morning Calm , 2nd stop was Nami Island. We took a ferry across to this this island and thought 3 1/2 hour stop would be too long.We were wrong, the island has now become very touristic.It started off with the Korean drama"Winter Sonata" which was shot here more than 15 years ago. The island has many lovely spots of nature and each season there is something to look forward to. Coming in the last leg of the Cherry Blossoms, we saw the petals falling like snow...a real pretty sight to enjoy.Got excited seeing the bronze statues of Bae Yong Jun & Choi Ji Woo. Many tourists come to this spot to take photos.Love the lovely pine trees in rows definite a sight to remember.A hearty meal at the many restaurants on the island. As there are many tourists on the island , one need to join the queue for ferry back to mainland!
