We happened upon this place while staying nearby recently. From the outside it looks like a very traditional corner pub - more homely than fine dining but the menu tempted us inside. Fortunately we were fairly early so were able to get a table without booking though it soon filled up. The food was cooked to order, tasty and reasonably priced, service prompt and friendly. Would happily return.

Siam Smile focuses on a fusion of Thai and Malaysian cuisine and giving you the true South-East Asian culinary experience. Located in Suffolk Road, within walking distance of Cheltenham town centre and with a car park nearby, Siam Smile is ideal for coupl
I agree totally with the previous reviewer. We have been to the restaurant several times before and have always had friendly service and found it to have a pleasant ambience - in fact we've recommended it to Gold Cup guests in the past. but this evening it was like an entirely different place. The waitress was unfriendly, surly, ungracious and made us feel very unwelcome - not a smile in sight. We felt she couldn't wait to rush us through our meal, give us the bill and get us to leave. And not a word of farewell when we went. When will restaurateurs realise that we pay a lot of money to eat out, and it isn't just about being fed, it's about having an enjoyable evening too - and it is the service that makes the difference. Either they have changed their staff or they save the best for the weekends (we went on a Thursday evening and it was pretty quiet....only 3 tables in total). Please take note of this, Siam Smile, or you will find your loyal following will diminish quickly in a town this size once the word gets around. No restaurant can afford to become complacent - there are lots of others springing up around you, including a newish Thai restaurant in Montpellier. The food was fine, but as I say it's just as much about the ambience as the food. I don't think we'll be going back.

A unique traditional bombay style street food Our food is suitable for vegan, vegetarian and our meat is halaal
First visit to this restaurant and glad I did! Great food and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. We had pani puri, chicken lollipops and tandoori chicken for starters and my wife and I were very impressed! The mains were lamb rogan josh and goat curry. The meat was tender and plentiful and the spice great. We have been to several Indian restaurants in Cheltenham and this is number 1. We will definitely being visiting again and again and again.HiThank you for your review Regards BOMBAY and Co

Located in the former old mansion house on Montpellier Drive, Spice Lodge- Cheltenham's premier Pan Asian restaurant - provides you with a new and exciting taste of Asia. The restaurant is divided into separate areas and dining rooms, each having its own
This lovely restaurant was recommended to us by a member of staff at our hotel in Cheltenham. The food was delicious, staff were very friendly and gave excellent advice about food choices. Beautifully clean, great service and value for money. Would highly recommend.

INDIAN BBQ & SOUTH INDIAN RESTAURANT We serve a selection of traditionally barbecued meats and vegetables and a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. A Thali (Vegan, vegetarian & Meat) available for lunch times and from 18:00 - 18:45 in the even
always like Bhoomi when it was high-end restaurant but really like the more relaxed brasserie style with new menu. As well as a variety of interesting curries there is a small Plates and BBQ section on the menu that enables you to construct your own taps style set of plates. We did - and they were delicious! Also available for lunches ..

The Memsahib Gin and Tea bar is the first of itsâ kind. Inspired by the British Raj period, during which many Anglo-Indian women, âMemsahibsâ, settled in Cheltenham bringing with them new and exciting tastes and flavours. With a broad selection of 55 gins
We have visited twice for drinks in the last few weeks and on both occasions been impressed with the individual presentation and taste of their lovely G&Tâs and cocktails.Usually Iâm not a fan on unnecessary bits thrown into my drink but here itâs well thought out and creates beautiful flavours. The table service is excellent and the setting elegant with the added bonus that you can have a conversation without having to raise your voice on a Saturday night even when there is live music in the adjoining room.I look forward to eating here soon.

I arrived at the restaurant and got met by an waitress who was untidy and unhelpful at all she said we were unable to have a table but could sit at the bar and eat even tho there was tables vacant she claimed they were booked yet the people that came in after me who I was stood talking to who also had no reservation got seated at a table another member of staff which was annoying to say the least .Then I said to the waitress that we had a taste card and she said itâs not valid today so I asked why as it says online it is she was Argumentative and abrupt and claimed this was not the case so I showed her that it says online it is valid she then scroll down to the very very bottom in small print that says not on a Wednesday yet the advert clearly states Sunday to Friday the lady who served me was as unhelpful as she could be and didnât listen to what I was I was trying to say .The food was ok yet the rice was like a brick and when I pointed this out to the waitress she then told me the rice is compact and my view was just dismissed and not listened to at all poor customer service and average food . This is not normal for yo sushi but this was a let down

A statement of serenity and calm. A refined and sophisticated approach to dining Indian in an intimate and relaxed surrounding.Prithvi, "Earth or Mother Earth, in the ancient Sanskrit", where mouthwatering food and an attention to detail is second to none
Another year, another visit to the Cheltenham literature festival, another outstanding meal at Prithvi. This has to be one of our most favourite restaurants-an Indian restaurant...that does not serve curry!!! This year we ate the 5 course tasting menu, priced at £59. Meat, fish, vegetables...every course a beautifully balanced blend of flavours, textures and spicing. Innovative, creative, a restaurant like no other... forced to choose we would eat here over Benares/Cinnamon Club/ Namaste Spice. Quite how it does not have a Michelin star is beyond me... though perhaps in terms of price and accessibility we should be pleased!

A family run Thai Restaurant by the Jirayingmongkol brothers âNadraweeâ (Head Chef) and âKitâ (Sous Chef) serving authentic Thai cuisine with decades of experienced bringing the best flavours to your plate.
A regualr group of us meet for a bite to eat and some food...first time we have tried this place and not disappointed. Everyone thought the food was excellent...and if you are from Chelt, it is the same family/people who used to produce the Thai food at the Suffolk Arms pub. Very much recommended.Dear Nick,We appreciate your time and efforts to state your experiences on Trip Adviser, for the benefit of the others. Truly touched by your words of appreciation and encouragement.Further to your tremendous dining experience, you have made additional efforts to elaborate details of our food and service. We are honoured to have genuine patrons like you who acknowledge our endeavour.Looking forward to another opportunity to serve you again.Best Regards,Team Bangkok Kitchen
