We (my wife and I) were looking for something different. We had seen Gangham Zip from driving past it and decided to try it. We are fairly unfamiliar with Korean foods. The counter clerk was very friendly and helped us understand the options and tastes. I went with a chicken teriyaki - which was good. The kimchi was a little strong to our tastes (good - but not a familiar taste to us).

My daughter, her baby, & I went here for lunch. We started w/steamed dumplings. They served 5 small ones w/small amount of sauce. They were delicious! We chose to order luncheon specials, which came w/soup & white rice. The cup of Tom Kha soup was very appealing. My daughter ordered yellow curry while I had pad ginger without carrots. Both meals were fabulous, w/great tastes. My daughter said she had not tasted such good yellow curry in a long time. I thought my meal, with the wonderful ginger slivers, was truly excellent. Price was extremely reasonable & service, good. If I lived in Austin, I would definitely make this my go-to Thai place!

Salt and pepper squid and the eggrolls were fabulous! Quick and inexpensive meal. It is an "order at the counter" service, so no actual waiter, but service was excellent.

This hidden gem is a locals' dream. It is not the trendiest or fanciest decor, and that is perfect. Sitting down in this small restaurant rewards diners with a more casual environment and great, personal service. We always feel very welcomed. The food is the star, with beautiful sushi plates, perfect cuts (the salmon on this visit melted in our mouths) and wonderful flavors. And for those who prefer their food cooked, you can try tempura options (the tempura veg are wonderful!), noodle bowls, cooked entrees and more. The crab stuffed avocado appetizer is a perfect example. Be sure to leave room for a little desert too. From start to finish, they always deliver, and we really enjoy the weeknight happy hour specials.

The food was very good - tried two different curry dishes plus the golden bag for appetizer (which was really good!)The ambiance is purely strip mall quality. The service left much to be desired. The guy obviously did NOT want to be there, so he made no effort at all to even be friendly. Not expensive, but from now on we will order TO-GO.

Staying across the drive at Home2 Suites, Snow Pea Asian Bistro was recommended to me by the front desk attendant who had to go menus available. Less than ten minutes my food was ready. The Happy Family is dinner of shrimp, crab, chicken, beef, and pork, along with fresh tasty veggies and a nice sauce. This dinner easily serves two or seconds later. Highly recommend and will return to have dinner inside the nice restaurant and bar.

Wow what a find. In a strip center near the new Costco. Fabulous menu and wine list. Mostly asian with sushi, all sorts of rolls, tempura and more indescribable stuff. My wife and I seldom find a restaurant we REALLY look forward to visiting. This is our favorite place in the whole Austin area. Food is ABSOLUTELY great, and reasonably priced. Service is terrific. Rebecca took very good care of us. Alex the owner makes the rounds and makes you feel like a welcome guest in his home. And his perfection has spread to his whole staff. PLUS there is a terrific jazz quartet playing jazz classics on Fri and Sat. The are amazing. They play from 6 to 9 -- perfect. I had a spider roll -- cooked eel and softshell crab--wonderful tastes, and the presentation was so perfect I hated to eat any of it. My wife had the tempura and it was the best we ad ever had. Our table mates gave us a bite of their Sea Bass, and it was terrific--and the appetizer size is quite ample for seniors. TIP--sit near the front end of the sushi line so that you can gasp at the gorgeous works of art creations that come from it. Or sit closer to the band for more music. VERY highly recommended place. Oh, and they have a wine list that is like a downtown fine steak house--Alex really knows his fine wines.

Nice atmosphere and a well run restaurant. Recommend the 5wagyu beef and the chili Hamachi appetizers. Had the smoked shashimi too. Everything was perfect. This is an upscale restaurant so you will pay a premium but this is the very top of the line when it comes to the beef and sushi.
