We had a training/workshop about environmental updates and smr/cmr updating at Vencio's Garden Hotel and Restaurant last March 10-11, 2016. Their wifi in the venue is in full strenght. I like their laing for lunch. The restaurant had a nice interior design..
the food and service has always been acceptable for me. its really like a well known fast food chain but its Asian. when its quiet the staff are more relaxed and seem to have more time for you, the food seems fresher, but when its busy your just a number in here just like everybody else.
Small town, not much tourism. The Hotel's accommodations arent bad at all though, the staff are nice and pleasant...its quiet, and clean. But the restaurant needs a little fixer upper. The groundfloor washrooms are dirty and dilapidated. Despite Mindoro being an agricultural power, this hotel was void of fruits and vegetables - much to my dismay.

As always, Max's fried chicken is good to the last bite. Other house specialties taste equally superb. Open a bottle or two of ice-cold beer ... you wouldn't notice had taken one too many.Cool place, nice for meeting friends, guests, or simply chill ... spacious function room for special occasion. Bring home sweets and baked products from their take-out counter.Ample parking space, central location along JP Rizal adjacent to other fast-food chains, near the Capitol and business establishments.
It was the interior that caught my attention. I love how it was picturesque and feels homey. On food, it's a two thumbs up. I love their mango shake and grilled salmon. We also tried their Hototai soup and it was really superb. Staff was attentive albeit with a poker face which made me uneasy. I guess a little bit of smile wouldn't hurt. All in all, we had a good time.
PARD's Litsong Manok at Tsibugan is a two storey restaurant in Bayanan 1, Calapan City. Everytime, I visit Calapan on a business trip, I always go to this eating place for the local cuisine they offer. Foremost on the list is the famous,...litson manok, the laing, the ginataang langka but my real favorite is the carabao beef steak and the ginataang carabao meat. Being bred in Manila, carabao meat is never served in the restaurants. However, in Calapan City, carabao dishes are the house specialty of PARD's. The food is also affordable and you can gorge to your heart's content. While it is a fastfood restaurant, the cooking is not far from home. Exotic dishes at very good affordable prices. When we eat there, number of guests is never an issue. Whether you are 5 or 10 pax , food is always affordable.
This place is a hot spot frequented by locals when live bands are playing on Fridays and weekend nights. On other days the place is almost empty except for a few patrons. The place looks nice. Waiters' service can use a little more polishing but was good overall. The menu was composed mainly of Filipino and Asian dishes. The food we ordered was good.

We went here to celebrate my brother's graduation. The food is delicious. They served it boodle type. They have live band when we went there. Staff are nice. They also have alfresco dining area for those who smoke. The area is child-friendly. They also accept debit cards.

...We've been looking for a cafe in my short vacation in Calapan...and Auntie Lola was the place for me and my son, Mico. Nice location, nice ambiance, good food.
