We have eaten here a few times, and being Indian curry lovers, we can safely say this is the best in town by far! Super quality food, excellent service and a nice ambiance. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed! Enjoy!

Had lots of Thai food over the years and this ranks quite low on list of restaurants.Service was a bit haphazard and not very efficient.Food was okay, thatâs about all I can say, I asked if Jungle curry was hot, was told yes but had no spice to it at all.There must be a better Thai restaurant in Brentwood, will seek it out next time.Our apologies for your disappointing experience. Went with friends who visit regular, we havenât been for a year or so.Booked table... only table available so full.Service excellent very friendly, food was tasty and good portions only exception was my husbands chicken tikka dansak, (which he has every time and is a expert for that dish) he sadly didnât enjoy.he said that dish was too sweet and not enough spice.Finished meal with chocolates and a complimentary baileys and brandies.Would visit again but would mention about dansak Hi Elaine thank you for your review, We at The Pilgrims Korai always look forward to hear about your experiences. My sister in law who is from Thailand asked me to join her for lunch and she brought me here; Iâm so glad that she did. We enjoyed the tapas lunch menu which was very tasty and extremely reasonable. My sister in law obviously knows more about Thai cuisine than me; she cooks and serves it in her own pub and she was very impressed with the food. Excellent service too, highly recommended.

We came across Izumi after visiting Brentwood Karting. Excellent choice of dishes, amazing value and good service for lunch. Our 11 and 9 year old loved it!

We live in Gidea Park and often meet friends for dinner in London (where we all work), but for a change, we thought we'd meet locally. Our friends came in from Billericay, three stops on the train to Shenfield from us - absolutely perfect! After a quick drink next door, we walked into Empire. A lovely welcome, relaxed before being jumped on for quick service, enjoyed our poppadoms and a drink and then we ordered! My girlfriend and I ordered chicken tickka and salmon tikka starters for our main cours, but with loads of veggie dishes; sag paneer, onion bhajee, sag aloo, cauliflower bhajee, coconut rice (which wasn't on the menu, but they accommodated us) - all were absolutely delicious with plenty to go around, which our husbands were delighted about. The men ordered chicken shaslick and chicken tikka massala with breads - lovely and fresh and, suffice it to say, not a morsel remaining on our plates! Good house wine (we didn't think we'd drink a whole bottle - how silly of us!), and to finish off, a complimentary drink for us all. Great service, super staff, scrumptious food ................... no more getting the last train home from Liverpool Street for us - Shenfield was ideal and very much looking forward to our next visit - thank you very much.

Eat here and pick up takeaways quite regularly. You never have to book and takeaways are always ready within 10-20mins. Food is always consistently good, menu has a lot of choice! And the portions are really great sizes.Would pick Mizu over a Wagamamas restaurant any day.Don't let the appearance from the roundabout location put you off, this place is fab! We're so glad you are a regular takeaway and dine in customer, and appreciate your custom. Yes, it is an unusual location (on the corner of the M25/A12 roundabout) but as you've found, our "walk-in and fast service" ethos makes us the ideal choice when you're on the move and hungry for good quality, freshly cooked Pan Asian food. I wouldnât wish this restaurant on my worst enemy!The staff were rude and had a bad attitude, rolling of eyes telling us there was a minimum spend even though for 7pm on a Saturday evening the restaurant was empty.The food was expensive, small portion sizes of not good quality food.I canât understand how they have such good reviews unless they have paid for them or got the staff to write them?Honestly the worst restaurant EVER!Dear Guest,Our apologies you did not have a great time and weâd love for you to send us an email with the events that occurred so we can follow up and train up where needed, to better the experience. For all groups over 8 there is always a minimum spend, our plates are very generous in comparison to other high end establishments, we are a BYO alcohol venue, we have to be able to impose some restrictions which is always explained before confirming the booking. Our food here was excellent and made freshly but quickly. It was a Wednesday night and so pretty empty but there was little atmosphere which is a shame but can be worked on as the food is worth 5/5. Thanks for the awesome review, Nicki! We work hard to meet expectations like yours, and weâre happy to hear that you enjoyed your meal, Wednesday is middle of the week therefore it's not that busy night for us but please visit us on weekends we hope you will see the beautiful atmosphere at jehan curry hut.
