We really like the sushi served at Octopus. When we want to go out for sushi, we always go to Octopus. The food is fresh, and they usually offer specials for some amazing rolls, as well as offer creative rolls that aren't on the regular menu. The only downside to dining at Octopus is that the service is hit and miss. Sometimes we have a perfectly good evening with great service. Other times, we've waited and waited for our order to be taken and our food to arrive. The service doesn't seem to be based on how busy the restaurant is, so its just a matter of luck. However, once we do get our food, we ENJOY it.

Red lantern is a wonderful sit down Chinese restaurant that are not nearly as available without going to a "Chinatown". The food is delicious with many options. Its a great place to sit and enjoy wonderful tasty dishes. It is hard to find real Chinese restaurants anymore. This is the real deal and take-out is available. But take the opportunity to visit and enjoy all the "perks" of sitting down and enjoying the service and variety of dishes. Chinese fast food seems to be all variations of chicken dishes but here your food is hot, fresh and plentiful. Chicken, Beef, pork and fish dishes so you can sample all the flavors and joy that is the real pleasure of eating Chinese. If your fortunate, the owner will be in the restaurant. A wonderful personal man who will visit your table and with his charming humor make sure you love your experience. This is a place to enjoy yourself.
Thai Specialty was opened on November 30, 1990. As a family owned business, it was important that the atmosphere of the restaurant itself be welcoming to patrons of all ages. Thai Specialty gained its reputation by offering a wide assortment of authentic
I've only ordered food to go from Thai Specialty and it's always been very good. I like to get the spicy fried rice with tofu and the yellow curry with tofu too. The portions are adequate and I'm always happy with my food. The entrees are large enough for 2.Hi vegout2. Thank you for rating with confident. I am happy to hear that vegetarians also like our food so don't be stranger. Love to welcome you at the restaurant. Phat.

We ate here with a local friend for dinner. We arrived about 10 minutes before they opened for dinner and others were already waiting! Filled up very quickly and others were waiting within half hour of opening. We ordered several dishes and all were very good; however, some stood out above the rest. There was a lovely cool summer cucumber salad that was excellent and a nice complement to the heavier ribs and dumpling dishes. The honey ribs were excellent and the meat was so tender that it just melted off the bone! The dumplings are hand made behind a glass window that you can watch from the dining room. We had pork and shrimp filling and they were well filled and very juicy! The only downside was that the waiting area spills out into the restaurant, so a bit rushed if you want to visit and have a leisurely dinner. This is a great casual dumpling restaurant and was very busy the night we were there.

Introduced to this restaurant when I started working at California State University, Fullerton, when my manager took me here for a getting-to-know-you lunch. Ever since, my family has enjoyed many lunches and dinners here, for special occasions, as well as, after a movie and, just because.Among our favorite dishes are the 10 ingredient lo men (soft noodles), the 10 ingredient fried rice, sweet and sour pork, egg foo young, broccoli and beef, cashew chicken....

We went to this local Japanese restaurant last night with friends. Ichiban is celebrating their 30th year in business in Brea and that alone says a lot for their reputation. We ordered a "boat" which is shared amongst each other. It does come in a boat, set in the middle of the table. It certainly had enough food. We had chicken and steak teriyaki, my only complaint was the steak was overcooked for my liking, the chicken was good. There was a lot of shrimp & vegetable tempura, excellent. The coating was just right and I'm picky about that. We went with gyoza and this was also really good & crunchy. Finally the California roll. My friend doesn't eat the seaweed wrapping so they made it with rice paper and it was good this way too. We finished it all off with green tea ice cream. Very please with the meal and will return.

I like the diverse menu - Chinese, Thai, and other oriental flavors. And there's a fair number of items available for those who need to avoid gluten. We shared a very pleasant dining experience at this Pei Wei.

Extensive variety of selections. Some very good and some not so good. Even with the better dishes, the quality and temperature of the food can be very dependent upon "turnover". Best when just bought out from the kitchen and not that appetizing when it has been sitting there for some time. So, like almost all buffets, the food is generally fresher and better when they are busy right at lunch and dinner times, but then when it is really busy, you can have other issues.

The food here is really fresh. The location is very spacious, and the medium size crowd was well tended to by the friendly staff. I really enjoyed their lunch menu--I ordered the Ninja Deluxe (chicken teriyaki, shrimp & vegetable tempura + California roll 3 pcs). It was good! I was also eyeing my neighbor's spicy miso ramen soup, it looked yummy. I'll probably order that next time, or maybe just hit the sushi menu. As I said before, I liked the food; the only drawback was that it took a bit to come out--but, in all fairness, we did have a semi-large group.

After reading the recent reviews for "On The Hook" it's almost like we dined at a different restaurant. We found the service at best, inadequate. An excessive amount of time passed before our first entree was served (Jambalaya), another 10 minutes passed before our second entree (Cajun Catfish) arrived. Both entrees were served with no silverware. Having said that, both the Jambalaya and Cajun Catfish were quite good.
