I live in Samui and was recently invited to attend an exclusive vegan food and organic wine evening. I didn't have any real expectations of a gourmet meal (not being a vegan myself) but I have to say it was fantastic! I was blown away by the creativity, variety and taste!Chef Nick and his team had gone all out to create a menu that could be served in any top restaurant in the world. And it was served in their signature restaurant, The Tent, located on a soft white sand beach in Chaweng North. As the world becomes more interested in vegan food, I can honestly say that nobody should be afraid of trying it when prepared by an expert. Thanks Nick and all at Sala Chaweng for a memorable evening!Dear HongKongFanThank you for joining us at our recent plant based dining wine dinner in aid of the Amazon rainforest. We are pleased that you enjoyed it, we had great fun creating this very different experience as we love a good challenge. The team and I look forward to seeing more of you at SALA and "The Tent" for some more memorable experiences.Once again thanks for joining us and see you again soonKind RegardsNick HallExecutive Assistant [email protected]

Casa Luna is a vibrant Mexican restaurant and lounge in an ideal location opposite Big Buddha pier. We offer great food and drinks at very reasonable prices, with chefs specialising in Mexican and Thai food.
Went here for both dinner and breakfast as whilst we were staying here we struggled to find our version of good food; we thought this was the best!We tried quite a lot on both the breakfast and dinner and liked the things we tried. The dinner was better than the breakfast and I would recommend the soft tacos. The atmosphere is lovely as well - very chilled and relaxed and the staff are friendly and helpful - I think theyâre English so know what makes a good breakfast! Thank you for your lovely review, I'm so glad you enjoyed everything.

Our Restaurant opened its doors in Chaweng in late December 2011. We are now at 7 years of operations. Our key feature is original Thai cuisine at its best only using fresh high quality ingredients without MSG and additives. When we started we were a rare
We stumbled across this place one night and couldnât get in as was super busy , we returned early the next night and glad we did . It was well worth it . The food was fantastic and they are on top of their game . Itâs a little slow coming out but everything we tried was made fresh on sight and well worth the wait . The staff very friendly and always making sure we were happy with everything . It was a pity was our last night on samui as we would have eaten here again and will do so again on our next visit . Itâs no wonder this place rates high on trip advisor , itâs very well deserved .

Stayed just down the road from Noi Friendly and ate here on a number of occasions. What an amazing menu, friendly staff and excellent prices. We particularly enjoyed the fried rice with garlic, but every dish we tried tasted amazing. Best food weâve had anywhere. If youâre in the area you must try it!

The Red Moon restaurant at The Fisherman's Village in Bophut Koh Samui was a great treat. In true French style, Chef and owner 'Gao' met, greeted and explain his menu to us. I enjoyed the very best curry Iv'e ever tasted but Gao is truly famous for his slow cooked (7 hour) New Zealand 'Lamb Shanks'. Sincere thanks Gao for an amazing evening.

One of the best restaurant I have ever visited not only comparing to Thailand! The food is special , surprising, modern style and presented beautifully.Service is amazing too, they recommend and explain very good. Best snapper fish I had ever, amazing chicken cake and the lamb was simply exiting! Not cheap but for this standard you would pay triple in Europe.Highly recommend it and defiantly will come back!

Thai Restaurant in Chaweng, Koh Samui, serving classic Thai cuisine. Vegetarian friendly. NOTE: we do not take bookings, walk-in customers only.
We dined here tonight on the backing of TripAdvisor ranking this the no. 1 restaurant in Chaweng. From the beginning, with the friendly welcome from staff, things were good. The service following was excellent, staff were very attentive and the food came out without delay. Each dish we ordered was ayrhentic and delicious. I donât always agree with the TripAdvisor ranking of restaurants but in this case I have no issue. Highly recommended.

Fresh and only local Fish and Seafood and authentic Thai Food all cooked in the special Way by the Owner Supattra! Great Wine List with international Wines, but of course also local Beer and a full Bar Selection with great Cocktails and also a great Selec
Everything was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. No paper menu for food as they go over a blackboard with the current menu with you after you order drinks. Everything was delicious. The crab risotto and mushroom salad might be my ultimate faves but the fried calamari is a crowd pleaser too. The fried fish was also really good. Highly recommend the coconut ice cream for dessert! The owners were so nice and Supattra (the chef) even came over and asked us about our meals. The dinner was so yummy that I came back by myself the next week! The service is really great - definitely up to my NYC standards, which is saying a lot for Thailand!

We had never had Bao before and ate here as an antidote to Thai cuisine - after a week inThailand. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the staff are all very attentive and polite. The food was great - we had Cheeseburger, Gado (tofu and sate) and Teriyaki bao along with edamame, cucumber salad and sweet potato chips. All of the food was great. The cost was around the same price as 1 course in our hotel and included 6 drinks! Great value! We will certainly be back. Thanks Scott C for the 5 star review! Really appreciate your comments on service, food taste and great value! Looking forward to welcoming you again soon!
