Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Bonn. Though probably best known as the capital of West Germany from 1949 to 1990 (and of reunified Germany until 1999), Bonn actually has a history dating back to the 1st century BC. Roman soldiers were stationed here and the largest known Roman fort was built at Bonn. In medieval times, the town gained prominence when the Archbishop of Cologne transferred his seat to Bonn. The city's most famous son is Ludwig van Beethoven, born in 1770 at Bonngasse, where a museum now honors him.

Group of us went here for dinner after work. Nice decor and good looking menu. Little disappointed with the food. Nice enough but seemed to be lacking a little in spice. Things advertised as hot were somewhat mild and bland. But nice food reasonably priced

Vietnamese food
We went there for Vietnamese food, was half disappointed. Food wasnt bad, just wasn't authentically Vietnamese. Paprika/bell pepper just doesn't belong in a summer roll. Drinks looked interesting on the menu, unfortunately mostly watered down. Place seemed newly renovated, located in nice neighborhood of Bonn südstadt. If you are looking for a cosy night out, this restaurant could be an option, but personally unlikely to visit again.

It's a very nice place. Like other reviews have mentioned. This place is located very nice at the corner I the middle of the city with such a nice view of streets. The buffet here is absolutely amazing, worth every penny and the service I find it very unique and caring. I really loved my evenning here.

This 'Bistro' doubles up as a take away as well with seating for around 20-25 people. Agree with other reviewers who state that the owner can be a bit sharp. Place was full of locals and the take-out was busy on a Friday night. Had veg spring rolls which seemed to have been frying for a minute too long (see photo), Soya bean salad was presented well and nice. There is no difference in the thai curry between spicy and non-spicy!! You have to ask specifically for non-spicy or so we were told, so my dining partner had to have the emergency coconut milk option. Although the menu is extensive I think the number of sauces must be limited. The e.g. fish fillet is fried coming with a dome of rice and the sauce containing vegetables. I have never had this style before in a thai restaurant but was a good curry, although those wanting very healthy maybe disappointed. With drinks came to 25 euro, large potions!! Cheap and (maybe) cheerful (if you are lucky).

This looks nothing special from the outside, if anything the dark wood furniture makes it almost unappealing with perhaps the tables too close together, giving it more of a cafe feel. Yet donât let that put you off. The bright and cheerful service is a precursor what is to come. A small menu offers good hearty freshly made tasty Vietnamese food. Itâs nicely presented and filling, and hits the spot. Itâs a good alternative to the Carbo-tastic German Brauhauses and untested and slightly boring Italian restaurants.

The great thing about this place is you can eat in, take away or receive fast home delivery. The menu is extensive with a range of noodle dishes, sushi, mandu and many other Korean dishes.Iâve eaten here several times and Iâve never been disappointed.

Delicious and very reasonably-priced Sushi Restaurant. Very friendly manager and waitstaff. They offer take-away and carry-out. They have two tables for two people each and a large family-style table for up to 8 people. We were really impressed at how fresh the sushi was, the variety on offer and how reasonable it was. Will definitely return, the next time that we are in Bonn!

Exclusive and easygoing. Japanese dumplings, miso salmon with yuzu turnips, sorbet with Szechuan pepper and traditional nigiris and makis go down very well with the business clientele and Japanese food fans. The dining area is light and airy with cream-co
A modern restaurant very high level service and food. No real atmosphere but food is so good !Better to ask for the tables near the large glass walls on the river (far) Try the Japanese classical course and the Kobe beef mix, just awesome But this has a price very high price ...Dear Chm-ontheroad, thank you for your Feedback. We are really happy that you had a good time and an awesome Menue at the Yunico. We really hope to have you back at the Hotel as a Guest!Yours sincerely, Isabelle Konik

This is a very popular restaurant so best to make a reservation. It has a nice atmosphere and service is generally good (note however that they prefer payments in cash and donât accept MasterCard). The food was pleasant enough but Iâd say average in quality.
