This restaurant is definitely worth a visit! They served me and my friends high quality sushi which were beautifully displayed on the plat, and he flavours were on point! The price point is not to high which is great if you are not a huge money spender! They offer various types of sushi and other Japanese course meals. The restaurant itself is perfectly located in centrum of Bergen. Also, the staff is very polite and nice. This is a restaurant I look forward to visit again!

Had a very tasty duck salad and a nice glass of wine. After the initial serving the waitress came to my table once - in 2 hours. Seemed more interested in talking to her co-worker and cell phone unfortunately.

Experience from the minute you step through the door is exceptional. Great service, excellent food and reasonable ( for Norway) prices. The spring rolls are fabulous, we had Pad Thai and beef with oyster sauce. Could not be faulted, everything so fresh and tasty. You have to go.

Sushi and Japanese food located in the heart of Bergen - inside Galleriet shopping mall next to Torgallmenningen. Welcome to Take Sushi!
Itâs a long wait for your food; but when you get it, itâs so worth it! Very tasty - we ordered the Salmon All Stars and the mixed sashimi. Iâd probably order those two items again, if I had the chance to go again. Favorites were the salmon toro and the burning salmon roll. Again, itâs a bit of a wait for your food, so donât go if youâre in a hurry. If you have time to kill, this is a fantastic meal. Dear AvidSpartan,Thank you so much for your great review and feedback.:-) Best regards from all of us in TAKE sushi

From reindeer soup to Thai, burgers to sushi, and many options in between...even the most picky eater will find something delicious and filling!Quickly seated at a table, the restaurant is routinely filled with a mix of tourists and locals. Service is quick, very exact, and efficient. We had a primary server, but many stopped by to check we were okay. The efficiency was amazing regardless of helping groups of twenty people or two.Reindeer soup is rich and a meal unto itself. The duck red curry is plentiful and perfectly seasoned. The house red wine was a wonderful vinho tinto from Portugal... and the sushi chef is a machine (beautiful sushi en masse). The atmosphere is great: high ceilings, well lit in the summer, interesting frescoes.

Nama is the oldest sushi restaurant in Bergen. Since the opening in 2001 we have continued to deliver top quality sushi since day one. Part of our success is a steady focus on high quality ingredients and accessories as well as creating a nice atmosphere
Our hotel (the Admiral) recommended Nama to us, so we walked around the inlet to the restaurant up the hill a bit from tourist land in Bryggen. Our first dinner was with the family (2 adults, 4 kids - ages 8 to 15), and our second was âadults onlyâ â and we were extremely pleased with both meals. The maitrâdâesse (Anna) was friendly, patient, and guided us around the menu (in particular helping us choose for our younger offspring on the first night) â so much so that we could not help but go back again for âdate nightâ. The service was impeccable, friendly, responsive and caring, and the sushi and related Japanese fare was tremendous. Like everything high end in Norway, it definitely lightened the wallet, but it was well worth it â twice!!

Soybean is an icon of Asian cuisine. During thousands of years, the Chinese people put their peerless wisdom with food to use and created diverse soybean products, such as soy sauce and many kinds of fermented or unfermented tofu. SOYA Restaurant is the r
I was very disappointed with the service in this restaurant. The food we ordered was very delicious, but the waitress seem to be too busy. Mostly we had to help our self, and according to the food and drink prices in the menu, we could expect more friendly and helpful service. It is glad to hear the conforming to our food. We will be continuing to improve our service and food. Soya will welcome you always and sure that you will feel our improvement and passion to our guests every-time.

We stumbled across this place one evening I wanted dumplings. I did a quick search and voila. Mandalay showed up. I ordered the food, and it did not take long until I had dumplings infront of me. Service here is very friendly, prices are OK and the place itself has charm. Its not fancy, but the location is perfect considering there is a ton of other nice bars you can stop by after a good meal. A quick and easy meal. I also ordered the hot pot. It was hot, and fantastic.

This inviting Thai restaurant is located along Ovregaten street in the Bryggen area. They have several rooms with tables. The service is friendly and accommodating. The posters and ornaments did make you feel you were visiting Thailand. We ordered Tom Yum soup. It came out perfect, so authentic. The Thai Pad shrimp dish came out perfect too. Just wished there was more of it. We did come back for a second visit and enjoyed that experience also.
