The reviews donât lie and the place has something for all tastes.I went with the family and we had a mixture of local curries and the burger. The food was really tasty, fresh and well cooked. Itâs also good value and so cheap in comparison to hotel food!

Ate here several times during our stay, everything we had was excellent, service was friendly and quick. It looks a bit ramshackle from the outside, but didnât be put off by appearances.

You expect a typical Myamar taste restaurant, but this one is different. Here you get a nice family concept, with a very nice mixed Myamar/Thai/European taste. Food comes in a quick time, service is very good and for kids also a good place. Toilets are in a good condition for a restaurant. If we come again to beautiful Bagan we will visit this restaurant again for sure too.

Sanon Training Restaurant is a non-profit social enterprise. 'Sanon' meaning turmeric pays homage to classic Burmese influences. You'll experience local creative cuisine and receive great service. We focus on providing fantastic food and service but also
As a training restaurant, we don't expect flawless cooking skills but the service disappointed because staff lack flexibility and initiative. The restaurant needs to also review what they want to achieve and teach these youth. The food listed on the menu and ambience do not commensurate with the prices. If the high prices are meant to subside for the cost of training these youth, I guess that's fine. But the other bigger concern is how these youths are going to learn to price their food when they venture out to open their own restaurants to attract more customers. Their standards are not of fine dining standard that can command that kind of prices but at the same time, their cooking style are not for the masses or home cooked types. So, not sure if I will recommend anyone to go and try.Thank you for your review and supporting our work is greatly appreciated.

Here you can find very good vegetarian food prepared and served kindly. Thereâs a great variety of food styles. They offered us fruit salad for free, so we could try dragon fruit (among others). Also, they invited us to have a rest in the typical chairs they use.The price was around 4$ for 2 people. And last but no least, youâll find a big picture of a house in the middle of the place. Itâs their dream house they want for their big family. The cookâs family are 7 sisters, and sheâs recently had a lovely daughter. Help them get their dream!

We had a good experience eating at Elodie. The food is tasty, delicate and you can be sure that products are qualitative. The service is very good with friendly staff. Maybe the portions could be larger but we wouldnât want quantity instead of quality so thatâs fine! Excellent beaf with basil leaf.

Confort Restaurant is a cosy place near to Shwezigon Pagoda. We are open during all the day for welcoming you and serving you different kind of meal.
This place is a small mom and pops restaurant serving several different types of cuisine. We tried a few dishes and were not impressed at all. In fact it made us immediately question how they attained the top restaurant ranking in Bagan at 5 stars nonetheless. It is evidently a farce. The place isn't terrible. The food is "meh". The location is "meh". The people seemed REALLY nice. But we're the type that would rather have the owner hate us and the food be GREAT than to have GREAT people and forgettable food. So no this place IS NOT 5 stars. IT IS NOT the best restaurant in Bagan. It is simply a "greasy spoon" "hole in the wall" with great staff and ok food. Average at best. I suspect somewhere somehow is fibbing in these reviews and for that and (trusting TA blindly) we wasted a meal.
