Great restaurant in Auburn, CA for sushi. Always busy and has a local following. I would love to post picture plus a review.

FRESH is the operative word necessary for sushi. The fish here is always always fresh and beautifully presented. Give control over to the chef and be delightfully surprised with what you are gifted. We love to watch and experience the welcoming grace of the owner as she greets every newcomer as an honored guest. And all right here in lil 'ol Auburn. You'll love it.

There's nothing better than coming home after traveling for three weeks and going to your favorite Asian Restaurant. The food is consistently very delicious. I had to pack up two orders to go. It seemed that the favorite dish was chicken chow mein. It was all good food. The wait staff is always accommodating. Now they provide a delivery service called Food Jets and the delivery fee is under $4. It's becoming very popular to have your food delivered from this restaurant. I can't wait for the leftovers tonight.

We have lunch here often because it’s healthy and delicious. At lunch the meat choices are chicken, lamb, beef or turkey. The vegetable choices include cabbage, spinach, tomatoes, carrots, onions and celery. Once your food has been cooked, you may help yourself to fresh homemade pickles. The noodles are very popular here, and rice is served separately in a covered bowl at your table. In addition there is egg flower soup, and crispy wontons with orange syrup. For dessert there’s your fortune in a cookie and serve-yourself soft ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. The staff is always attentive and wine and beer are included in the choice of drinks.

Typical strip mall restaurant. Nice but unmemorable atmosphere. Good choices on their lunch menu. Be warned that plain chow mein is really plain. Just a stack of noodles . Everything was good. Wonton soup as a choice for lunch is unusual but nice. Service was very good and friendly.

There were five of us at this restaurant getting caught up with each other. I ordered the Shrimp with broccoli and Jasmine rice and egg drop soup. One guest had Kung Pao Pork with fried rice, two other guests ordered Kung Pao Chicken; combination plate with chicken, pork and shrimp over noodles..we all had soup, egg rolls, crispy won ton and a big pot of tea. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our wait staff was impeccable. When in Auburn, try this wonderful restaurant.

So I love the idea of this independent, non-chain restaurant in Auburn. The owner is very nice. The food locally sourced. The cuisine like home made Chinese food ( not Americanized Chinese). We heard the dumplings are excellent - they are more like pot stickers- I could not eat them as they are not gluten free but my daughter loved them. The menu is very limited and I had a hard time finding something to eat and have it be satisfying ( no gluten free options really). Tea was very good. As a person who works with the public - I often suggest to people try this place - give them a chance. I might go back if the menu ever increases and has gf options.

I am pretty fussy about new restaurants. This one has been around for a while now but I had not tried it until I was exhausted one night and ready for food, and it was "on my way home'. It was so NICE to get treated by the owners like I was a long lost Aunti, looking for some love. They made lovely suggestions, based on my personal tastes, and the fact that it was pretty late, and I was delighted to have a fabulous PHO (faaaa) and the best of the best chicken wings, and had enough to take home for the next day. I have since returned and tried every one of the Pho soup type bowls and I love them ALL. For the uninitiated, it is fresh, hot and delicious with the garnishes on the side, so you can add as much hot or basil or whatever as you like. It is honestly delicious and enough for sharing.

Joe Caribe serves light ethnic food at reasonable prices. Chicken Curry Burritos, Fish Tacos and Pork Mojo Sandwiches are some of the offerings. A nice short beer list includes Chimay on tap.

Whoops I started eating before I could stop myself and take this photo of fish tacos beans and rice plate. Fair price and very tasty. I order fish tacos allot and these were tops. Easy freeway 80 acccess just after the town of auburn enroute to north Tahoe!!! A tasty side dish served with all plates is shredded carrots sweet and sour taste. It’s no doubt I’d try it again. It’s got more variety than Ike dad to the store but pie prices take home are near thame price as Ikeda homemade not the variety of Ikedas but this is a restaurant only. Staff friendly wide variety of plates meals and a la cart. Good for small or large groups and families

This was a chance to have a "not rushed" lunch with my youngest daughter. Since this is her favorite restaurant, we enjoyed our fresh salad with peanut sauce, garden rolls with tofu and we covered it with fresh peanut sauce. I ordered the won ton soup and it was just the right amount for my lunch. My daughter had her usual Pad Thai Chicken. I also ordered two orders of Pad Thai Chicken to go for a later meal. There is a new chef directly from Thailand. He is a superb chef and will learn our ways soon. I'll go back again and again. It is the best Thai food in Auburn, CA.When passing through Auburn, make sure you exit on HWY 49 and go north for the best food in town.
