The welcome is extremely good and the staff are very friendly. The draft Cobra is excellent and the restaurant is very reasonably priced. The food is great and the staff are only too pleased to accommodate any requests for alterations or additional items added to a dish for example I asked for Salmon Tikka Shashlic. Which isnât on the menu but no trouble to them at all . The poppadom and pickles are great

Itâs been a while since I ate at this restaurant, so long ago it was called the Link Measham Cantonese Restaurant during my previous visit, so I decided to drop in while in the UK. The ambiance inside the restaurant is like any typical Chinese food restaurant and actually quite authentic, although more relaxed and not as cramped and manic as an actual Hong Kong establishment. Care has been taken to take a typical Chinese menu and develop it for a western palate and there is a large choice on the menu. Interestingly the menu is varied and doesnât just cater for those wanting Cantonese food, the Thai menu looked interesting although I stuck with traditional Cantonese food during my visit. Draught lager is available as well as bottled asian beers in additional to a limited wine selection and a variety of spirits. Service was very good and the staff attentive. The food was prepared very timely and to a high standard also. It was very authentic compared to many dishes I eat in Asia. If passing through Measham, or living near by, I would recommend this reasonably priced restaurant if you want authentic asian food in a relaxed environment.

Booked in for 6.30pm on a Friday night 08.03.19.3 or 4 family tables already inside. Been before but not for a while and never as a couple. Pleasant staff. Decent draft Cobra.Food was brilliant from start to finish.Great meal plus bottle wine... £60.Will not reveal our order just go and get stuck inWe will be going again soon. It really was that good - so close to home spells danger .. lolCheers.

Been visiting this curry house for nearly 17 years, and always been happy. Nice cold pint of Cobra, always a good sign to kick the meal off. Perfectly adequate meal, without blowing your mind, and a reasonable price too. Extensive menu with lots of choice, plenty of staff to ensure swift service, however some of the younger guys looked like they would rather be elsewhere...mind if was NY's Eve...Sat upstairs for the first time, not as much atmosphere as downstairs, but not a problem as we hadn't booked a table.cOverall a perfectly decent curry, well worth the money...

Booked a table for 8pm, 8.30 still no table! Finally got a table 9.40pm still no food!When the food eventually arrives my husbands lamb dish is actually a chicken dish, itâs amazing that your service is so slow yet you can rustle up the correct dish in 2 minutes! Nothing wrong with food but service was disgusting! Absolutely nothing to warrant us going back to Swadlincote ever again

Usually a regular customer that is satisfied with the service. However, ordered a Chinese from CK House in Ashby last night and was told it would be ready to collect in 40 minutes. We arrived to collect the Chinese and unfortunately they had given our food to the delivery driver by mistake.They apologised for this and said we would need to wait for the driver to return with the food. I then asked what was going to happen about this and they said they would re-heat the chips and stick in some free fortune cookies (wow). We continued to wait another 20 minutes for the food. Whilst we were waiting we over heard a phone call telling the customer that received our food, that they would receive a full refund and the correct food would be sent to them. However, we had a cold chinese (we just ate it because at this point we were starving), warmed up chips and some fortune cookies?? this wasn't fair at all. Can't help but think if we had kicked our feet more we would have received a free meal. Just left completely disappointing as we were having food with friends and highly recommended your takeaway.

We visited De La Zouch after glancing on trip advisor.Well worth a visit! Extremely friendly staff, family run from my guess. Couldnât do more for you!We sat down immediately and within 5 minutes had drinks and popadoms on the table.Freshly done and served with an array of chutneys and others bits.Starters where fantasies, onion bahji along with samosas.Shortly after the curry came out, freshly done and quality ingredients!The butter chicken is well worth a try.Would recommend.The portion sizes are large, probably ideal as a shared for those not majorly hungry!We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!The staff really appreciate your custom. Which makes you feel valued as a customer!Well done!

Restaurant or takeaway?Youâd be mistaken by the number of people hanging around next to your table.Service was average, first visit and no prawn crackers yet very other table had them, you have to order them apparently, as a side on the back page.Anyway ordered some and the food turned up straight away, like literally 5 mins.Anyway, chicken good, prawns too spicy, duck rice interesting, (donât bother) seaweed excellent, prawn toast greasy.Service could have been so much better if not interrupted every 2 mins by a takeaway.Understand why they do it but itâs not great!

A large party of us ate here last weekend. 2 of the starters were forgotten about and werenât taken off the bill which I would have expected considering there was a 10 min wait whilst everyone else finished. The mains were ok - not amazing. They kept bringing beers when we hadnât ordered them. Having said this, we had a good evening.

Since moving into the area we thought we would try the local curry houses. Little India is by far the best. The food and service is the best. The waiters are so polite and the food is simply devine!
