Our hotel had a shuttle that dropped guests off at the Arpora end of Baga Beach. As soon as you hit the beach, staff from the literally dozens of beach shacks tout for your business, all free sunbeds and promising great comfort in exchange for buying the odd drink, perhaps a meal or snack and maybe partaking in a neck massage or pedicure. A quick scan soon shows the more popular shacks and a quick look at the TripAdvisor best beach shacks on Baga leads you to the Shining Star. Needless to say it is also one of the busiest and although it became our go to shack on one occasion we had to go elsewhere because they had no sunbeds free. The sunbeds are a little crammed together but the staff will move the umbrellas to keep you in or out of the sun as you wish. The staff are very friendly and not at all pushy, the beds have clean towels and the food in the shack is very good and reasonably priced. We had what they call laffi rolls but others call Kathi Rolls and they were very generous portions (one would serve two for lunch). It was so busy you knew the food was fresh and although we didn't get back at night for the BBQ I was told that was also excellent by another guest. The beach is so long you need to find a shack that is close by to where you are coming on the beach so for this part of Baga I recommend the Shining Star.

Located opposite The Saturday Night Market and next to Double Tree Hilton Arpora you will find Pink Chilli Bar & restaurant. The ethos behind Pink Chilli, we are all about INDIA! Filled with colour, art, traditions and beautiful restored Goan furniture...
I was just passing by on my last solo trip to Goa, when I spotted a quirky Pink auto rickshaw (tuk tuk) parked outside this place. I was hunting for a good place for dinner and thought this might be it. And I was right.Absolutely great place to chill, alone or with friends. So spacious with various types of seating arrangement (you can even sit on an open auto rickshaw, designed like a furniture!Slightly over-expensive, but surely worth a visit for the ambiance and the great food for sure!

Place offers descent Goan food. We tried their thali and squid chilly. Their ambiance is really good. The music they played on the day we went was good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are nominal.

I've eaten here a couple of times with friends and it's always been packed out, with British people mainly. The owner is very flamboyant and friendly and he does make you feel very welcome upon entering the place. It's just a basic roadside restaurant with plastic tables and chairs really but it has become a bit of an icon in Baga amongst regulars. The prawn crackers served as a starter are massive and very tasty but the portions that arrive thereafter are quite modest and the overall price of each dish is quite expensive, I feel, for what you order. However, my friends love this place so I'm happy to join them because the food is always served hot and is fairly tasty too. If you want a change from Indian or European food this place is a good restaurant to come to, mainly because the staff make it run efficiently.

Jamies is a cab ride from baga beach around 300 rupees. The menu is quite extensive and will suit all needs and tastes with traditional sausage and mash to a typical Goan curry. Our food was served very quickly, I had chicken curry, rice with cheese & garlic nan it was a perfect sized portion and hotness. (they ask how hot you would like it) My fellow traveler had prawn curry and they were as equally satisfied with their meal. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. they do a nice selection of cocktails but we shared a bottle of house wine @1900 rupess (In Goa wine is expensive in comparison to the UK) only downside for me personally was lack of ambiance maybe some back ground music would change that. We could hear every customers conversations.

We are a small upcoming restaurant. Our chef / owner comes with a michelin background and experience of more than 10 years working in the Uk and USA. Also since our roots are Goan we will bring a small classic traditional Goan menu prepared by the chefs m

Where to start. Great food, great service with a smile is always a good place. We have a hit list of old favourites and new places to try so rarely do we return to a restaurant multiple times on the same trip but Vinny and the boys keep drawing us back. Vinny is a well-loved host and always manages to get it just right. I guarantee from your first visit you will feel at home. It's quite a talent he has. Vinney's Indian food knowledge is incredible. I say what flavours we want to eat and hey presto it arrives. Our favourite meal of the last trip was a sweet pumpkin curry with garlic grilled prawns. Just wow.. All wrapped up in a garden setting. Worth a vist...

A lovely Restaurant with nice clean Toilets and Premises. Excellent food and Service. Nice tasty food although quite spicy for some tastes so ask for mild if in doubt. Quite a busy place so may need to book in advance. Prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable.
