Our appetizers of spring rolls and california rolls were good. Fresh and tasty. Our main items of bulgogi.............with meat...........with squid..........with chicken (#7 spicy) were very tasty with spice not over powering. An order of Yakisoba with shrimp was good too....shrimp not overly done. Thank you ...

I dined in the restaurant with two others one evening, and then ordered a sizeable take-out order about a week later; both occurred in October. Mixed results.Amy, the owner, waited on my party of three when we came for dinner. Excellent service, as always. The food was also excellent, as usual. One of us ordered Pad Thai, which was delicious, steaming hot, well seasoned, a generous sized order. Another ordered the chicken and broccoli, and asked for a different sauce, which was not problem; she reported it was to her liking, and she had plenty to take home. The third in our party ordered the General Chicken, and reported that was well prepared and tasty. I had a sample, and agree that it was delicious. One week later, still in October, I ordered a sizeable take-out order for a business meeting off site. This time Amy the owner was not working that evening. When I called, whoever answered the phone (I think it was a woman) mumbled something incoherent and then loudly said "Wait". So I waited. She then returned to the phone and I placed my order. When I went to pick up the order, a woman was at the cash register. She was very busy. It was only after I left the restaurant and arrived at my business meeting, with the food, that we discovered that we had not been given any chopsticks, which we could have used.I think the woman working that night must have been overwhelmed, though the restaurant was not busy; my guess is that take out orders were very heavy, perhaps, but this is only a guess. For both occasions, the food was excellent - no complaints about the food. The food is reasonably priced, tasty, nicely prepared. I would not consider it 'authentic' Chinese food, but this is very tasty food regardless.

This place has very good Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon, the prices are good, service is prompt. There is very limited seating, you order and pay at the counter, the food is served from the same counter. We did not love the fried rice, but will return for egg rolls and Crab Rangoon.

First you get a bowl, pick your meats, frozen chicken, beef, imitation crab, or mussels? then you get some veggies, noodles and other toppings, and then my favorite part, all the sauces. The have recipes posted if you want to use them, but there a lot, and there all good. These make your meat and veggies taste great. You can go up as many times as you want, which is a great value. Service is good as well.

Nice atmosphere, good food. Not my first choice for sushi, though. There are better options if you have a car.

It's a fine dining restaurant that served Chinese food and Sushi, we also have Hibachi and Teriyaki from the kitchen. Take out is another option you can have.
Four of us had dinner here for the first time. We were greeted enthusiastically and seated immediately. Our server promptly appeared and took our drink orders. They were quickly brought and our food orders taken. Three of us started with soup; one began with a salad all of which was served pronto. As we finished with these starters, our entrees were brought well prepared and presented. Each of us found our meals tasty and ample. Service was excellent. We will return.

Good variety of sushi, we usually try a few new ones each time along with some favorites. Hibachi is good, show is entertaining, but the same as any hibachi place. Food gets over cooked often from new âchefsâ.

If you are looking for excellent, tasty, and flavorful Asian cuisine, you MUST eat at Mai's. I've been eating their food for years, starting at the farmer's market savoring their stuffed wings.I was so happy, when they opened a restaurant (several years ago). I have a difficult time ordering, because everything on the menu looks so good. The menu is eclectic and there are gluten free and vegetarian options too.Guess that I'm just working my way down the menu. Just had Pad Ka Pau. Simply delicious. I ordered it with tofu (there's a pork option too), because they make their tofu with just the right amount of crisp. The spices in this dish definitely compliment each other. The Pad Ka Pau is a little on the spicy side (as noted on the menu), and for me, just the right amount of spice. Mai's Deli is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Appleton.

Got there around 5:15 on a Saturday evening with four adults and two children. The young man who was the host wanted to push two tables together but a woman who must have been his superior berated him in front of all the people waiting to be seated that he shouldnât have put someone else at a different table. Then she told us it would be a little bit. She was not friendly or even nice. Basically, she acted like she didnât want us there. Was it because we needed two high chairs? We left. She was not nice to the person she was supervising and not nice to us. Dear 607lindad,Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us on your recent experience. This restaurant does not look like much from the street. Do not let this fool you! The staff and chefs pay close attention to blending flavors and textures to make fantastic dishes. The Bun Nuong was well-composed. The pork fried rice, which is rolled into balls and fried, followed by being broken open and served lettuce-wrap style is both flavorful and a great texture combination. What a great find during a business trip.
