The food is clean, tasty and in large portions. The meat especially the ribs are good quality and if you like sides, they have lots. The buffet gives you lots of options and the staff are quit efficient. There might be a short wait when going for weekend dinners, cause it's packed with people. The washrooms are also clean and modern. The only downside is they do not accept Amex credit cards.

Chef Sammy and his team are friendly, knowledgable and create a great dining experience. While the location may not be the best for an evening out, the vibe and environment are good. We come from Vancouver so we know our sushi and it was hard to find something comparable. Sit at the sushi bar and watch the technique and flaming torches as they make beautiful plates. We come here with the kids and they will make something off menu to accommodate their tastes.

Five of us decided to take a car ride just out of our usual luncheon boundary, since someone recommended this restaurant to us. Royal Pho is located off of Golf Links Road in Ancaster & in the same mall as Golftown. There is plenty of parking. One vegetarian ladies had the wonton soup, the other had the stir fired mixed vegetables & both enjoyed their dishes. The others had grilled beef/sausage with a spring roll, chicken stir fry, and I had the Royal Seafood Pad Thai. All of our dishes were under $15.00 and under $11.00 for the pho soup. It's not a very large venue, but easily accomodated all of us. The service was excellent.

Award-winning buffet featuring delicious Chinese, Canadian, and International dishes - all prepared fresh daily. Serving over 100 all-you-can-eat items including soups, salads, sushi, grilled items, hot entrees, and desserts. Also offering a-la-carte, tak
We were hosted by our Hamilton friend to lunch and we were not disappointed. In fact, very satisfied indeed. There was a very good range of Chinese and Western dishes and really good steaks. It all amounted to several return visits to the buffet bars and as much seafood, steaks, ribs, salads, etc, etc. that could be eaten in one sitting.I can't understand the poor reviews I've seen. For me and my friends it was excellent. There was no room in my British stomach for all the desserts on offer, but I still put on plenty of weight on this vacation.Wish we had something similar in England. For me, The Mandarin is a big hit.

Ok, we might be biased. We love Asian/Korean food... GUILTY! But each time we've come, there has been a variation on a theme. For example, yesterday, they had a clever take on KFC chicken. ie Karaage Chicken which is often a trip deep fried breaded chicken. Personally, I am not a fan of Karaage chicken basted in spicy sauce... but that's me. The version offered is excellent but as a side, I think that some might prefer to dip.... much like their breaded Calamari.. Which I should say I have never liked. Chewy... over cooked....nope, not for me! But they have a perfectly cooked, breaded calamari that has an excellent spicy dipping sauce. It is GREAT!They also offered a humus like dip with pomegranate seeds and, fried crisps. It is great - even if the dip could be a little moister and perhaps, a big more processed.... Tasty, but could be improved, in my opinion! The main course for me was a simple Kung Pow Chicken.... it was GREAT... perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of chili! BRILLIANTWe also has the Sea Food Linguine.... yes, it was GREAT, and something that is always worth ordering, if unsure. I might have had Ramen... Miso or otherwise, I doubt you're be unhappy. My previous choices have been brilliant. For desert, a blue berry tort and a chocolate mouse.... Simple and very flavorful! If you believe Dundas needs great dinning options, drop by Namu. First, it won't disappoint and second, it will make sure they're still here next month when I want a great Asian/Korean Fusion!keep it up, Guys.... the changes are welcome and show your culinary range!Doug/Ruth

La Spaghett is a cozy little restaurant on Hamilton mountain. The Italian dishes are exceptional. Following an appetizer of delicious garlic bread I had Shrimp Sienna, a pasta entree with leeks, shrimp and creamy feta cheese. Itâs the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Portions are substantial.
I think Pho du bo is a great addition to the Ancaster restaurants. It's decorated beautifully (very different from any other restaurant in the area) and the food is delicious. You order by tablet (also something different for the area). I really enjoyed my meals and the staff were all friendly. I've had take out as well, and it's keep equally good.

Was planning on having dinner in Dundas, but due to a street festival and road closures we decided on plan B which led me to My Thai in Ancaster with a few family members. We ordered an App to start which came quickly and was enjoyed by all. the rest of the meal followed shortly there after and was Hot & Fresh with really good flavour. Not our usual go to Thai Restaurant but was still worth the visit. I personally felt the portions were a bit on the small side for the price charged. Our sever was very friendly and took good care of us.

Came here with friends for dinner yesterday and had a great time. Very busy place, so reservations are a good idea. There were six of us and we shared many apps and mains. Everything was excellent. Service was great, quick and friendly. Nice upscale place, interesting decor. We will definitely return.

Having driven by hundreds of times, it was time to try take-out from the Thai Tamarind. Chu Chee Pla fish dish was my favourite. Also excellent were the Pad Thai dishes; the shrimp and chicken versions were definitely distinguishable from each other. Noodles were of the transparent (glassy) type and delicious. Both the Jasmine and Sticky rices were tasty and nicely steamed. We'll try the Coconut rice next time. Chicken Satay with peanut sauce delighted the crowd as well. Don't be put off by the proximity of the Esso station! This place looks nice on the inside.
