We were quite disappointed in the meal. The wonton peanut sauce appetizer was doughy. The chef's Special Chicken dinner was monotonous with frequent fatty or tough chicken parts. It came only with a bowl of plain white rice. There are multiple other Asian restaurants in town.

We used to come here regularly about ten years ago and thought a meal here would be good for old time's sake. Wrong. The two dishes we ordered were clumsily preparedand almost gross. My husband ordered Squid stir fry with vegetables and hot sauce. It came on top of a buried mound of rice and some rice noodles. Not only that, but there were mussels and shrimp in the dish. In this case it was fine, but some diners are allergic to shellfish. He would have preferred all squid. I ordered the H.O.T. Bento Box: Tempura thickly caked in batter, overly sweet chickenteriyaki, industrial seaweed salad, shumai, and gyozas. Portions are generous and prices are low. Therefore its appeal to students is understood. But for us, never again!

This is my daughter's favorite restaurant! I don't like sushi but ordered their rice and shrimp. Plenty of food served but I would have liked the shrimp larger than being so small that you couldn't even see them. Other than that, a pleasant lunch.
Stopped in for lunch and tried the noodles with vegetables. Definitely homemade noodles with blended flavors. Six tables and very friendly warm service. Small menu to choose from as they just opened.

Love this place. Low key, friendly staff, big portions, fresh ingredients, cooked to order, and low prices. Amazing noodle dishes and soups. My daughter and I ate our weight in crispy wontons that were served piping hot right out of the fryer with a sweet chili sauce. I tried the new menu item the Phnom Pehn Cambodian noodle soup. It was tasty, but way too much to eat. I took the rest home for dinner that night. When in Amherst, show this place some love and stop by for a really great meal!

Located in the center of town, this Asian restaurant has a variety of fresh food offerings from small and large plates, soups, salads, tea rolls and noodles. We stopped by for dessert and their fresh ginger honey tea which was very tasty. Staff was friendly and efficient.

It's easy to find something for everyone on the menu. I ordered a spicy dish and it had the perfect amount of heat. Our food came out super fast, and it was a busy Friday night, with students coming back to school. Clean, updated interior and pleasant service. In the mood for Thai, I would recommend

A friend recommended it as having very good food. What the other people ordered was ordinary: wanton soup; chicken corn chowder, soft shell crab, seafood with tofu hot pot. I ordered the four pieces of dim sum - tasty and nicely presented. I also ordered the tofu and vegetables. It was just ok. The vegetables were mostly onion and scallions and the tofu was thickly fried. I would not order it again.

This about 1 month old restaurant is located on Route 9, (or Russel Street) in front of the Big Y shopping Plaza. Excellent Chinese food)
The restaurant is quite large and often crowded, so we prefer to eat at the bar, insuring that your food will be ordered right away and served promptly. Although you can order the "usual suspects," There is quite a variety of more authentic dishes, often using fresh local produce. While the dishes we had were quite good, particularly the dumplings in chili oil, don't rely on the heat ratings. Both our lamb dish and noodles were indicated as spicy, they were actually quite mild. Next time we will ask to amp up the heat. As a plus, drinks are cheap. A sizable Hendrick's martini was under $10.

After a visit to the Berneski Museum at Amherst College hubby and I strolled about looking for somewhere for lunch. After looking at several we picked Miss Saigon, mostly because of their $7.25 lunch specials. We didnât expect much but boy, were we surprised! The space is a mix of booths and tables, very nicely and smartly decorated, spotlessly clean and very quiet and peaceful. Service was quick, efficient and very professional. The lunch specials were awesome! I had the basic special: soup, followed by a choice of protein, sauce and rice. We both had the sweet and sour soup which was perfectly balanced and delicious. I selected crispy chicken with the basil sauce and brown rice. What came from the kitchen was a platter filled with a huge pile of freshly sautéed vegetables tossed with crispy chicken pieces in a very delicious sauce, along with about a full cup of rice, and a small egg roll. It was perfect; almost a dinner portion than lunch. Hubby had the Kimchi fried rice special with chicken, with the soup and eggroll -- a similar platter of excellent flavor and bounty. He also had a mango-strawberry iced tea, one of the 28 different flavored fruit-iced tea combos listed on the menu. It was a huge glass of cold, flavorful iced tea, with actual small chunks of mango in it. Perfect again!Total tab for an excellent and filling lunch was all of $20. The full menu for dinner is 9 pages long! Oh, to live closer so we could try dinner there, again and again and again.
