Large open-plan museum on four levels with an impressive collection of Islamic artifacts. The wood carvings are a consistent favorite.
This museum should be a required visit by tourists visiting KL. It deals with a great deal of the culture, crafts and history of the Muslim world, and as such bestows a great deal of honor to that world. A great deal of thought and effort went into the curating of the museum. The sheer amount of material on display requires a long visit or several shorter ones.

Stumbled this museum by chance and was awed by the collection. The Batik paintings are personal collections by the owner over the years. Batik as most know are decorations on cloth to be used as clothing. This museum however showcase Batik as a medium for paintings. A cool place to take a break, rest and cool down and feast your eyes with the intricacies of the Batik paintings when exploring the streets of Georgetown.

Presented in three-dimensional forms, many of these paintings seem to spill out from their framed canvases, offering a fun way for visitors to interact, photograph, and blend with the artworks. One of the highlights of the Langkawi Art in Paradise 3D Museum is the stunning panoramic painting of the gleaming Kuala Lumpur city skyline, featuring the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, Menara KL Tower, and Sultan Abdul Samad Building. The massive Egyptian theme zone is another must-visit for memorable photo opportunities, where visitors are transported into the mystery-filled ancient civilization. Images of the majestic Sphinx, pyramids, and pharaohs are painted in great detail, and seem to come to life in photos. While the Langkawi Island is usually frequented for its excellent duty-free shopping, island-hopping and diving opportunities, Langkawi Art in Paradise 3D Museum at Oriental Village offers a uniquely fun-filled activity for travelling families.

We're promoting art and culture with our miniature figurine and scenery through more understanding about history.
From the moment we stepped into the place, we were taken in by these little scenes depicting the life and culture of the common people, soldiers and royalty from ancient China. All the figures are made from dough and the attention to details is simply amazing! The buildings and other structures are made from other materials such as cardboard, wood, plastic or anything that works. Very educative. Free admission to view the displays on the ground level and RM5 to see more upstairs. Highly recommended.
