I spent really nice time during my visit. Great knowledge and Perfect english/russian of my guide Tamta made me feel like traveling in time to beautifull past of Georgia. It was helpfull to understand the culture and fulfilled my exploration of Georgian history. I can also honestly recomend this place to families with chlidren as I've seen extremely excited group of chlidren watching "magic" waterfall. IT was so funny :)

If you like "primitivist paintings" you must see that museum because Pirosmani's works are there. If you do not like "primitivist painters" you will not like it as it shows mostly Pirosmani's.

I enjoyed it as much as a Guggenheim museum. It's Georgian artists only, but it is outstanding! Features a caffee, a gift shop. The building itself is modern and nice. Takes really up to 3 hrs if you take your time.
