Tjanpi Desert Weavers is a social enterprise of the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Women’s Council created to enable women in remote central deserts to earn their own income from contemporary fibre art. Tjanpi represents more than 400 Aboriginal female artists from 26 remote communities on the NPY lands, which cover approximately 350,000 square kms across the tri-state border region (WA, SA, NT) of Central Australia. Tjanpi Desert Weavers has a public gallery in Alice Springs where you can see and purchase your own unique piece of art and learn more about the women and culture of the NPY lands. Tjanpi also runs public weaving workshops and regularly exhibits work in national galleries, museums and public institutions.

Yubu Napa Art Gallery, Studio and Gift Shop is now open at the iconic Panorama Guth Building in Hartley Street, Alice Springs. We offer a wide range of contemporary indigenous art as well as beautifully handcrafted souvenirs and gift ideas. Our onsite artist studio is a comfortable space for the artist's to paint in, offering visitors an opportunity to meet an artist and hear the stories of the artwork firsthand! Kathleen Buzzacott Art Studio is a fully owned and operated Indigenous family enterprise situated on Traditional Arrente Land in the stunning West MacDonnell Ranges. Visitors are invited to enjoy a unique cultural experience. Our 'Yia Nuka Ilama' tour involves story telling, morning tea with bush tucker and seed bracelet/keyring making workshop.

Tangentyere Artists Gallery is open Monday to Friday at 16 Fogarty St, Alice Springs. We are an Aboriginal owned and run Art Centre. Tangentyere Artist support new, emerging and established artists through our studio, gallery and outreach program. We also work with Indigenous artists visiting town from remote communities, offering Aboriginal artists a safe place where they can sit down to paint.

Lots to see at Mbantua Art Gallery in Alice Springs! Our specialty lies in fine artwork from the Utopia region of Central Australia. If you are after larger pieces of art, or looking for an investment piece, we also have the Mbantua Lane Showcase Gallery which you can view on request. In addition to our paintings, we have created a range of souvenirs and gifts called Utopia Australia Giftware. These items are made using our very own art designs. Royalties are paid to the artists giving them a continuing stream of income. Nyinkka Nyunyu Art & Culture Centre is a place to explore the land, culture, history, language and art of the Warumungu people. The centre was created to preserve Warumungu culture, to share it with our visitors, and to protect the sacred site of the Nyinkka, a spiky-tailed goanna which is a powerful Wirnkarra or ancestral being.

We take great pride in representing a large range of high quality Aboriginal artworks by highly talented indigenous artists from affordable to highly collectable investment paintings. All our paintings come with Certificate of Authenticity detailing the artists Biography and photographs of the Artist holding your painting. The paintings are painted on Belgium Linen with Acrylic paints. The Linen has been primed sized and stretched before the artist paints on it. This is an excellent surface for your painting and makes our paintings a standard size (cheaper to frame).

We are a proud Indigenous Tourism Champion and a not-for-profit art & craft corporation 100% owned and controlled by Anangu (Aboriginal people from the Central and Western deserts) for over 30 years. Approximately 900 artists make up the collective that is Maruku. We exist to benefit the artists, their families, their communities and play a key role in keeping the traditional cultural practices strong and alive throughout the Anangu lands. Maruku is a regional art centre and, therefore, a representative of Anangu culture and art. Our commitment to excellence is driven by the fact that we are a direct link between Anangu culture and tourism to the area, a role we take seriously. We want to educate our visitors about Anangu culture and history; in turn cultivating respect and understanding for this ancient culture and its differences to our own.
