The birthplace of the tango is, like the dance itself, captivating, seductive and bustling with excited energy. Atmospheric old neighborhoods are rife with romantic restaurants and thumping nightlife, and Buenos Aires' European heritage is evident in its architecture, boulevards and parks. Cafe Tortoni, the city's oldest bar, will transport you back to 1858, and the spectacular Teatro Colon impresses just as it did in 1908. Latin America's shopping capital offers the promise of premium retail therapy along its grand, wide boulevards.

Galeria Mar Dulce is a small, family run gallery specializing in contemporary and classic Argentine and Uruguayan art. Our gallery is based in the living room and patio of a former townhouse in the Palermo Soho area of the city. We show works by a wide variety of artists ranging from the internationally-known Daniel Santoro and Tulio de Sagastizabal through well established artists in the local field such as Ral Veroni, Lola Goldstein, Cristian Turdera and Isol and including 'emergent' artists like Maria Elina Mendez or Sofia Winazki. We also have works by classic artists such as Raoul Veroni, Federico Ayma and Victor Rebuffo. Classic and contemporary works live together happily in our little gallery as they do in our homes. We present two exhibitions simultaneously: a solo show accompanied by our +COLLECTIVE, which is a group show by about a dozen artists, the intention being to have on show a panorama of the best local artistic production at all moments. We specialise in small and medium format artworks but also have some larger works in stock. Prices range from U$D5 for books and U$D100 for artworks. We speak English and Spanish.

Gachi Prieto is a space where art management and independent thinking join to create a dynamic proposals within Latin American contemporary art. We started in 2007 as an arts consultancy promoting Argentinian art abroad, offering cultural management, and facilitating exchange between galleries and institutions in Latin America. Since then, we have been committed to prioritizing the artists, their work, and the context of production. Spatially and conceptually, Gachi Prieto assumes the demands of contemporary art by focusing on site-specific proposals which use space as a tool for innovation. We have the responsibility of being part of an organic system which functions through a network. We are fully commitment to promote projects and artists who become part of this complex system and who, we believe, are in constant search for innovation. These artists who see their process as the fundamental part of the development of their work.
