We had dinner once. The service was good, the food only acceptable, but prices were too high, considering that this is a simple place, with no view, too big to be intimate. I had a trout, well presented, but accompanied by a potato preparation, which did not fit very well with the fish. My wife had a ravioli type pasta, too much dough and not enough filling. We shared a dessert, which was only acceptable. At least they have a good wine list with reasonable prices. They accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards.

Small, unique restaurant. Quiet atmosphere right by the lake. Superb surroundings! Trout is the specialty and it is delicious. The menu is short but offers a good variety of dishes. There is also a child menu. Wine selection is very good. The service is excellent. Wonderful dinner in wonderful company, including the hosts.

This was my second visit to this establishment. We brought friends here for lunch on a quiet Saturday. We were the only ones in the place so the service and food should have been excellent. Not sure what happened but, our Milanese was white like it wasn't fried but just taken from the freezer and heated. Pretty tasteless and unappetizing. *Also they do not take credit cards so have cash. I feel bad that I took friends here for a meal. Anyone could do better in their own kitchen, not sure what happened. Won't be back. We regret their bad experience, our policy is to keep an eye on the customer, we are very grateful not to have noticed your disgust, to have noticed we would change the dish, we hope to return to rectify the bad experience

This is one of the favourite restaurants in Villa Pehuenia. It has a big terrace overlooking the Lago Aluminé and several tables inside. It specializes in pizzas, considered the best available in town. Its menu has also an excellent choice of salads and snacks. So if you just want a small lunch, it is the ideal place, because for a very reasonable price you can have a small plate. It has also a good wine list and a variety of beers to choose from. Even if you just wish to drink a beer, or eat an empanada, the view from the terrace makes the visit worthwhile.

This cozy restaurant rightfully avoided a first bad impression by giving us our first meal with no charge at all. I think the waitress or the kitchen (or both) forgot our table and when we finally complained they just started doing it, When I asked for the bill after eating, they were so ashamed that the nice lady didn't charge us. Indeed, we came back to another nice meal and, by the way, their food is delicious.

We ate here twice during our stay. I had the best steak here of any place we ate in Argentina. Large portions, perfectly cooked, not much fat or gristle. Everything we ate here was good. Loved the mashed potato/pumpkin and the trout was terrific too. In addition to making food for busloads of rafters they kept up with large tables of travelers too. The owner was gracious and helped with translating fussy orders. The menu is quite large and varied.

Recommended to us by the owner of a great bar in Coviahue as the best place to eat in Villa Pehunia. An amazing location overlooking the lake, a great family welcome. The food surpassed all expectations, truly outstanding. A great wine selection too. Thanks a lot!

We ate here a couple times during our week in 'VP'. The small menu is packed with interesting dishes, some standard bar food, some Argentine specialties. The people were extremely kind and helpful. It is a small room but they handled the influx of ravenous rafters with aplomb, except for running out of beer. They have really good beer. Try the Trucha!
