I have eaten three times at Sotavento: once for coffee and dessert and twice for dinner. Overall the quality of the food and the portions are quite good. We did order cornalitos once that weren't that great, and the rabas at another meal weren't the best (apparently we don't have luck with seafood there). The pasta and steak dishes that we ordered were all very tasty and enjoyable as were the desserts. The location is wonderful - right on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean. The service has also been good when we've gone. I like this restaurant, and I will continue to dine there.

This is a lovely house turned into a restaurant. The food is delicious! The prices are very reasonable. The portions are very adequate, so much so, that my friend and I shared an entree for an extra charge of 40 pesos. We liked it so much we returned the next evening.

Three years ago, I discovered Necochea as my summer vacation spot, and there , I discovered Don Atilio. The experience was so great that I have repeated it every year. My wife loved their pastas and sea food ; I tried their bife de chorizo [super steak} and could not stop ordering it for all my daily meals. The service was always great and prices were very reasonable . Don Atilio visits every table to see that the service is to your taste. The waiting lines were often long, but they moved very rapidly; so over all it was an experience worth repeating every chance you can

Please note that Necochea is a city in the province of Buenos Aires...it's not part of the City of Buenos Aires (Capital Federal).
I went out for pizza with a large group of friends at PizzerÃa Los Tilos. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurantâthe colors and materials used make for a very warm space. The pizza was thin-crust (pizza a la piedra), which I prefer over the thicker style one tends to find here in Argentina. There was a wide variety of toppings to choose from, and the pizzas were all very tasty. They even offered fainá, a very thin chickpea bread, which you generally only find in Buenos Aires. The waitress was efficient and friendly. I would definitely return to Los Tilos.

Parrilla "El Loco" offers typical Argentine steakhouse standards - chorizo, tira de asado, vacio, bife de chorizo, etc. I have been to this parrilla twice, and I enjoyed my meal both times. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere is that of a typical parrilla - nothing fancy but it's certainly comfortable. The restaurant does a brisk business, even in the off-season, as it's quite popular with locals. In terms of service, the waiter (we had the same one twice), while friendly and personable, was not terribly efficient. In fact, the first time we went, he made a mistake with the order, and one of the members of our party had to wait quite a long time for her meal as a result. The rest of us had practically finished our meals by the time hers arrived. The menu does feature English translations for those who need them, but some of the translations are a bit comical. All in all, Parrilla "El Loco" is a good choice for dinner with tasty, ample portions. Go hungry.

Traditional Restaurant in Necochea. Since 1964 we are well known for our complete menu where we can highlight sea food, meats and pasta. Always making focus on the quality of our dishes; friendly and personalized customer service.
I dined at Mi Cantina recently with members of a group I belong to. We ate in the private dining room. While the food was certainly decent, I'm not in any hurry to go back. Portions were a good size but flavor was just OK. The service was efficient. The room/atmosphere was blah. There are better restaurants in Necochea...

My husband and I dined at Peperoncino, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. The restaurant, located inside a converted house, offered a cozy and charming atmosphere. Our friendly and attentive waitress brought our food to us in a timely manner. All of the dishes were nicely presented and very flavorful. Generous portions ensured that we left with full bellies. ¡Panza llena, corazón contento! We're already planning to go back!
