Especially during Spengler Cup in December the Vaillant arena is a spectacular veue for watching hockey. The home HCD play excellent hockey and the venue is also the location of events like art on ice.

Went here for a concert, the experience was great: good organization, amazing sound inside of the stadium and spacious enough to accommodate all the crowd that seemed enormous at the beginning. ! Some tips before you go there: try getting 40-50 min in advance to skip the waiting time to get checked by security. You are not allowed to have a lot of things with you like drinks/food, computers/tablets, sport bags/big bags or backpacks, umbrellas, selfie-sticks and, obviously, any kinds of weapon. Might be good to know it in advance :)
