Newport Polo, home of America's First Polo Club, celebrates the 30th Anniversary season of the Newport International Polo Series, featuring public exhibition polo matches every Saturday, June - September. Founded in 1876, charter member of the United States Polo Association, Newport Polo offers year-round polo club membership and polo instruction.
Located a few mile north of downtown Newport, the polo grounds are easily accessible. The whole premise is to arrive 2-3 hours prior to the starting time and tail-gate! Bring a Frisbee, soccer ball or football and play on the field prior to the match starting. The parking is very close to the tailgate area, bring a table, food, your own drinks including alcohol and just hang out. There are "booths" selling some odds and ends, clothing, jewelry etc but the fun is in dressing up - think pastels, big hats and over the top preppy. You can literally wear anything you want but treat it as an "event" and it's more fun. The announcer does a great job keeping you informed and has a nice sense of humor.

We have been to the Yard Goats Park with business associates and at other times with the grandkids! It's been a home run everytime! Making special arrangements is easy, the games are a blast, local awesome broadcaster Don Lovallo calls the games...The food choices are numerous and they are even a nutfree ball park. Hartford finally has a first class city attraction!

Hallowed ground to baseball purists, this cozy, quirky park has been the Boston Red Sox home field since 1912. The most distinctive feature of this classic baseball park is the 37-foot-tall left field wall, known as the "Green Monster."
Last year we visited Wrigley and this year was Boston -- the park is stunning -- the guides are very knowledgeable and the views from the Green Monster are incredible. Well worth taking the tour -- however the area around the park during game times is an experience in itself with entertainment, food stalls and of course Red Sox souvenirs.

A popular baseball field (home of the Pawtucket Red Sox) for minor-league games that draws a huge crowd.
Traveled to Pawtucket to see the Sox play. Despite a 6-3 loss to Syracuse, I had a great time. The stadium is a quaint park, rich with history. The memories are posted around the entire park. Not a bad seat in the house, reasonably priced and ample parking! The people there are very friendly, the staff in the Pro shop are very accommodating. Was great seeing a game in the park that was host to the longest professional game ever played, 33 innings. Stop by the Right Place, just up from the stadium for a great pre-game meal and interesting chat about the Sox (Paw or Bo) the Patriots, Celtics or Bruins!

Just returned from watching the New England black Wolves/ New York Riptides professional Lacrosse game and had a woderful time. The Mohegan Sun Arena seats around 12,000 people and is an excellent venue for watching sporting events and concerts. Virtually every seat is a good seat and the area has a large professional staff who are very helpful to all patrons.

Minor League Baseball team. The Portland Sea Dogs are the Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Come enjoy family friendly entertainment at an affordable price and see future Major League All-Stars. Former Sea Dogs players include Mookie Betts, Xander Bogaerts, Jon Lester, Dustin Pedroia, Anthony Rizzo, and many more.
This is a great place to watch a baseball game, but you'll have to wait for next season thanks to Covid 19.

This is a great place to take the kids to see a game! Boston is so unaffordable these days for families and this park is a great alternative. Leave extra time for traffic and parking on game nights. They usually have lots of promos and giveaways.
