It was a adrenaline rush type of day. The whole experience was beautiful. I couldn’t have asked for a better quality guide. Go Miguel!!! He was so personable and funny, and he did EVERYTHING we did and encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones. The jumps were so cool, and the ziplining into the water over and over and over made it worth the money. The waters were spectacular. The only thing I personally didn’t love was the canoeing but that was at no fault of anyone but my own because I’m plus sized and water kept coming in because I sat in back instead of front not knowing any better. Didn’t drown or sink so I call it a win.

Chichen Itza was remarkable, and swimming in the Cenote was great! My husband, who does not swim, even got in. They supplied mandatory life jackets (for $2). And, our guide, Ruth, was absolutely outstanding, the best!!

We were excited for this one and were very dissatisfied. Arrived at the pick up location. Stood in line to pay dock fee, people were scrambled all around (cutting in lines) and not very organized. We get to beach to get informed about rules (around 10-15 min). When you get on boat you take your shoes off. Keep your belongings close to you. If you say no to Premium (an upgrade) they ignore you the rest of the trip. “Professional” photographer takes pictures of you throughout the trip...we weren’t offered that option. Agency told us Golf carts were $10 to rent but once you get to the island they tell you it’s $35. If you don’t do the tour you are pretty much stuck at the beach with no access to explore the island. Music plays in the background. No entertainment. People hoard the beach chairs and shaded areas so you’re stuck at the food court. Water is disgusting with seaweed. Food was mediocre. Service was very poor. If you don’t speak Spanish, they don’t offer you things or upgrades. You’re ignored most of the time. Kayaking was available (free) and paddle boating (not available) but you needed your driver’s license for that. Who knew. They crowd you onto the boat. Can’t really walk around freely. I’d recommend getting a boat ride to the island on your own terms and renting a golf cart and doing your own thing. Only good thing that came out of it was the snorkeling. Don’t go with this company.

5. Tour Tulum - Xel-Ha from Cancun & Playa del Carmen

Inclusions: Transportation with air conditioning on a round trip from your hotel, Access and guided tour in the archaeological zone of Tulum, Specialized bilingual guide, Unlimited snorkeling in the river and inlet, Walks through the jungle trails, The children's World, Rest areas with hammocks and lounge chairs, Use of snorkel equipment with a gift tub
