This expert guided private day trip takes you to the beautiful Cederberg mountain conservancy about 3 hours outside Cape Town. Set within in a UNESCO World Heritage Site for nature - we will walk an easy wilderness trail to view a series of remarkable prehistoric San bushman cave paintings - many thousands of years old. This is in one of the best open-air art galleries of late stone-age Bushman rock art accessible from Cape Town. You will view and learn about this intriguing art and the people who painted it thousands of years ago. Walk through this ancient wilderness, learn about the earliest humans and experience their art in the landscape they inhabited for tens of thousands of years. Seal island was a good experience as we could not make it on time for boulders Beach, we started off at seal island but could only get 2h00 sail as the 11h30 one was booked and they only opened at that time whereas we thought we will get the 9h00 drive, in future make prior booking to be sure of times as the pendemic has affected all working hours, we got to boulders and it was closed already at 4. Surely the times were not checked there as well. Chris was very passient and tried he's best making up for the time we had to wait for 14h00 to seal island, I he knew the times we could have done all in the max of 3 hours. I'm going to boulders Beach now this morning, at my own expense of which is not pleasant, since I've spent already and the error done on your side.

Edna & the team at Elle Private Tours accommodated us a with a private tour from Franschhoek to Betty's Bay to see the African Penguins, then onto Cape Agulhas to see the Southern most tip of South Africa where the Atlantic & Indian Oceans meet. We spent a wonderful day with Edna, who provided us with details about the countryside, the farm crops, local animals, and towns as we drove to / from our destinations. We learnt a lot about the Western Cape and greater South Africa from Edna, she was both informative & happy to answer any questions we had.
