Amorini Antiques Centre is the only centre of its type on the Wirral. With 10 rooms to explore and 30+ dealers under one roof, this fascinating emporium has something for everyone and prices to suit all pockets. The Centre is a definite must to while away a few hours browsing the retro furniture, silverware, jewellery, ceramics, art work, militaria and books as well as top quality shabby chic furniture and a vast array of other collectables. The Centre is located just two minutes’ walk from both the Liverpool Ferry terminal at Woodside and Hamilton Square Station and close to Hamilton Square with its lovely Georgian buildings. When you've finished browsing, check out the Amorini Snack Stop for refreshing hot and cold drinks and snacks.
So much to see, lots of it evoked memories, but an eclectic collection of every type of vintage/antique items. Really interesting and enjoyable afternoon with a very helpful couple running it all. No cafe, although there were DIY facilities to make a drink, however, the food hall at Woodside is a couple of minute’s walk away.

Using traditional techniques, and a level of craftsmanship only gained through years of experience, we fully restore and enhance the original build quality and finish found in these beautiful pieces of history. We passionately believe we are merely custodians of these historic pieces for future generations to enjoy. Items can be viewed at our large antique furniture warehouse in Clitheroe or we do display all our beautiful antiques on our website. we stock a large range from Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras in the finest quality woods such as Mahogany, Walnut and Oak. As members of LAPADA - the Association of Art & Antiques Dealers, we provide the highest standards of quality and only offer genuine pieces, with a fully detailed certificate with every purchase.
As a regular visitor to Driscolls showrooms in Clitheroe, I would have no hesitation in recommending them if you are looking for qualty & beautifully presented antique furniture. Definitely worth a visit. The guys are very easy to do business with. Approachable & knowledgable.

The Antiques Shop, located at street level, within the Rows of Chester. Established in 1989. Owned and run by the same Antiques Dealer, for nearly 30 years, selling genuine British Antique and Vintage items. The shop building is a late 13th century great medieval stone town house, circa 1290-1300. Although the facade is imitation 17th century, within the building there are substantial remains of the medieval town house. 38-42 Watergate Street is one of the most interesting buildings in Chester. Rarely has the medieval fabric of a building survived so intact as in the upper levels, and rarely has a building been so thoroughly investigated.
I went in this little shop looking for an early antique map of Cheshire. The owner was really helpful and knowledgeable. There were several to choose from and I left with a particularly nice example. I was nearly tempted to buy an exceptional piece of vintage leather luggage but I was spent up. This shop is a real treasure trove of interesting antiques, Being local I will definitely be back before Christmas.

They were established in 1770, and have been in their current premises since 1804. A shop full of history, wonder and a ghost! There is a museum open for anyone to have a wander around and absorb the atmosphere.
