Cornwall is the extreme southwestern peninsula of England. It has the longest stretch of continuous coastline in Britain and it is one of the sunniest areas in the UK. With picturesque villages, Celtic ruins, light blue waters, gardens and parks and unique architecture it certainly is among the most scenic areas of England. Home of many events and festivals and the land of Cornish pasty, it is definitely worth visiting.

Followed directions 50m up a fairly steep lane to this old building with a well packed and shelved selection of predominantly slightly older hardbacks. The lady running the shop was welcoming helpful knowledgeable about the stock and it’s layout. We always look for photography biography history politics art poetry and abroad sweep of modern and classic literature. This is the best undiscovered used bookshop we have encountered locally in ages. We will be back.

This was the last thing we expected to find in Hayle but this charming building has some very good independent traders and upstairs it is full of antiques (BBC filmed there earlier in 2020)

I love a bookstore. Had a great time looking around this one. Lots of Cornish authors, new and second hand books. I treated myself to a first edition book as it was at a very good price. Chatted to the lady who worked there for ages. She was very helpful. If you like books you will love it there.
