If you head for the hills in the state you’ll end up in the northern sector where the inspiring mountains and attractions like the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, the Blue & Gray Museum in Decatur and the Ave Maria Grotto in Cullman represent the diversity of experiences available in the area. In the middle of the state you’ll find Birmingham, an urban center with great attractions and museums, and Tuscaloosa, the quintessential college town and home to the University of Alabama. For beach lovers, sandy destinations like Dauphin Island near Mobile, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach offer beautiful beaches, superb golf, fantastic seafood restaurants and heaping helpings of Southern hospitality.
For those who love to chase the white dimpled ball, Alabama offers one of the best golf values anywhere. The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, a collection of 468 holes at 11 different sites across the state, features top-notch, championship style courses at affordable rates.

Stepping into Rivenbark and Roper Antiques is like going back in time to a place filled with charm, beauty, and southern elegance. Our store has moved to a larger location in the heart of Downtown Historic Huntsville, right across from The Depot at 313 Jefferson Street. This up scale antique shop offers American, French and English furnishings from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as Chinese and Japanese export porcelains. Rivenbark and Roper has the largest collection of silver hollowware in north Alabama, along with an exquisite collection of fine art from around the world. We take great pride in hand selecting every item that is placed in the shop.

This shop is a mid-century modern enthusiasts dream. Wonderful furniture, dinnerware, glassware and glass pieces along with light fixtures and a quirky garden area in the back. The owner, Fred, is only too happy to give recommendations for things to do or places to eat while visiting Birmingham. Definitely come to this store!

Friendly helpful staff. Great prices and an eclectic array of items from antique furniture to modern art.... Fun place to shop, I bought a collectors set of 12 Star Trek mugs for $10 and 2 Columbia shirts for $1 each in the same trip. Love stopping here on my way to the beach!

We are a dealer mall with three floors and about 25,000 square feet of merchandise housed in an old warehouse building in downtown Huntsville. Primary access to the second and third floors is by stairs, but we do have a freight elevator for store use when moving furniture.
