Find out what American restaurants to try in Wilmington. Wilmington is a vibrant riverfront city and the most accessible coastal area in the state. The pedestrian-friendly Riverwalk winds along the Cape Fear River, connecting many of the city’s shops, cafés, and nightlife with waterfront hotels, parks and the Port City Marina. Annual festivals, such as Riverfest, Wilmington Beer Week and the world-famous North Carolina Azalea Festival, attract crowds year-round. Three nearby island beaches offer even more dining, attractions and water sports.

I have given this place multiple tries in 4 years. Order the same thing every time. Every time it has been wrong. Bbq chicken tenders, fries. Ranch on side. Every single time it has been wrong. Diff sauce on wings, no sauce on side.Rachel I'm sorry this has been your experience. We are a Family owned Business that takes great pride in using Locally sourced Seafood and Vegetables at affordable prices . We have been voted Best Oyster bar by Encore readers in Wilmington 15 years in a row.
We have been coming to this restaurant since 1999. We have always had the best service and food. The bartender, Ashley, is very attentive and pleasant. Casual and relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place to eat/drink. Very affordable and delicious food! Give this laid back, Caribbean spot a try and you'll be hooked!

Casual environment serving high end bar/pub fare
We stopped in before a visit to the theater. Wait was 30 min, but had 2 seats open up at the bar in 20. The staff was running hard but were always friendly and attentive. Then came the food! Everything was delicious and came out timely, but not too fast as to be on top of the course before it! It was a noisy, busy, fun place with great food and a casual atmosphere! Weâll definitely go back!!

This bar must spend a ton of time/money on marketing. Nothing about it is even average, let alone great. They must doctor up all the excellent reviews: "Best restaurant in Wilmington"? Take a look at their menu. "Great value and service"? Go order one drink and tell me thats true. You want to skate through, fake it? Fine, but don't go out of your way to lie and mislead people about what you offer. Hell, just redirect the effort it must take to keep up the smoke and mirrors act, and you might just end up with a pretty good restaurant!Thankfully, Wilmington offers wonderful options throughout the city, so I am thankful that I will not have to worry about returning.Hello. Come in and dine with us today!
Party of 5. We had both the original and the pepper jack fondue starter with salads. This was followed by most of us ordering the "3 choice undecided" with 3 dipping sauces for the main meal. Lots of choices to please everyone. The food was high quality with a beautiful presentation. Price was more than fair for the quantity and quality of food. The service was excellent.

Small restaurant in a small strip shopping center. The grouper, Crab legs, and sides were delicious. Left nothing on our plates. Homemade desserts were tempting so we tried the lighter option (coconut angel food cake) and were not disappointed. The location is far away from downtown Wilmington

My wife and I make it a point to have dinner here while visiting the Wilmington area. My wife had the fried flounder/shrimp platter with cole slaw, hush puppies, and roasted potatoes while I had the grilled shrimp platter with a house salad, green beans, and sauteed spinach. Both meals were excellent. We were there on a week night and were immediately seated. The service was excellent.

I canât visit Wilmington without a stop at this small unassuming deli in a busy strip mall. Everything here is good from the homemade chips, cookies, deli sandwiches, even fried fish. What you cannot skip though is the Beef on Weck, piled high with juicy roast beef and fresh horseradish on a house made âWeckâ basically a roll with loads of kosher salt and caraway seed on top, served with au jus. The kosher pickles are also top notch, huge, crispy and seriously garlicky!

I'm staying in a local hotel in Wilmington, and got done with a really long day of work, for the Visit NC conference in town. Ordered Door Dash from this restaurant, and spent a significant amount of money might I add. I came back to the computer after 30 minutes after I had ordered the food, only to find out that the restaurant had cancelled my order. I have no idea why, but being that I'm hungry, and I had waited some time for the order before realizing this, I'm super irritated with the service, and I would go ahead an say skip ordering Door dash from this establishment. Thanks for making me scramble to find something to eat late at night now. I'll probably end up getting something lousy because of this.
