Earls in Whistler is an upscale, premium-casual dining experience. We offer a Global Skillet of the finest dishes, original cocktails, wine and beer from around the world, all at prices set for the locals of Whistler. Our service team are truly caring and
We chose Earls as it seemed to have a menu more suited to us.It wasn't overly busy when we went in and there were numerous empty tables but there was a 10 minute wait for the table which we agreed to.When we were seated we looked around and realised that nobody had any food so we knew we were in for a wait! The service was and continued to be slow and considering this is off peak, they will have a problem when the peak season arrives of they don't improve. There were lots of staff running around but seemingly without purpose, the table next to is asked for an extra glass and as we left twenty minutes later they still didn't have one and put their bubbly in a water glass! The rating I gave would have been a three however, because the food when it finally arrived was good, I have given it a four. The sirloin cabernet jus was lovely.I think there needs to be someone visibly in charge giving direction and orchestrating the staff better. We weren't offered any more drinks or dessert when the waitress cleared our plates which was disappointing so of it wasn't for the food it would have been really poor. Hi Squazle. Thanks for taking the time to review us. Could you email me at [email protected] to discuss more about your recent experience with us? I'd love to hear more about your perception of ongoings here. Thanks again!

The famous bbq extravaganza is back this year. With growling stomach and planning was the second group seated! So far so good. The custom made smoker from Montreal was working hard and my anticipation grew. But no familiar figure wielding 2 foot long tongs.Sadly none of the staff even recognized Arty's name, let along knew of his skills. Sigh. The BBQ is still a full on spread, and the wine selection improved from last year. Salads were adequate, with the penne pasta salad enjoyed the most. Sides included heavenly mac and cheese. Eight proteins on deck. Once again, I enjoyed the salmon most. Second was the seafood paella. But the Master's touch was noticeably absent. Life evolves. Life goes on.

Follow the captivating aromas of BBQ, freshly baked bread, rich coffee and mouth-watering treats to Portobello! Located in the lower lobby of Fairmont Chateau Whistler resort hotel, at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, Portobello's hip, casual setting serve
I stayed at the Fairmont Whistler hotel this past weekend and I ate solo twice here - one breakfast and one lunch. The food was excellent at both meals - large servings of healthy, hearty food. This is not a full service restaurant - you order at a counter and carry a tray to your table. The prices are a bit higher than average - so is everything else at this (excellent) hotel! I would eat here again when I stay at this hotel.Dear daveAZBC,Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us regarding your recent visit to the Portobello Market & Fresh Bakery. We are pleased to hear you were impressed with our breakfast and lunch options, as well as admiring our freshly baked goodies. It is known as a localâs favorite for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My wife and I came here for lunch with our son and daughter-in-law. We picked it because of the convenient location and the good reviews on TripAdvisor. Typical local diner atmosphere. My son and I both got the Reuben sandwich. The menu said it was made with shaved Montreal smoked meats and when I asked exactly what that was the waitress just said beef so I wasnât sure what to expect. It was like a smoky corned beef and it was served on grilled sourdough bread. The flavor was great and it was a very tasty sandwich. My daughter-in-law got the Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich and said it was very good. My wife got the portobello mushroom burger and it was a patty made of chopped up mushrooms. She said it was very mediocre and she really didnât get much mushroom flavor from it.The sides my wife and I ordered with our sandwiches were reversed. The side of fries were OK and the side salad was just some mixed greens and carrot shavings. Those were the only two choices of sides with the sandwiches. My son asked for an order of poutine for us all to share and we never got that. The waitress forgot about it. The food service seemed a little slow for no busier than they were. Reasonable prices for Whistler.

Good food all around - shakes, fries, burgers. Friendly atmosphere. Price is good, especially for Whistler. Definitely recommend a visit. Ordering is a bit odd, because you pick your burger ingredients AND / OR you can put some of the options on yourself. So make sure you get an explanation before you order.
