I thought Gaetano's had a great reputation. It's been there forever. So, when I visited South Jersey, I stopped for a Chicken Parmesan Sandwich, instead of going to my "regular place 10 miles away.Very disappointing. Fries were frozen, twice fried and cold. Chicken had lots of gristle. Not enough sauce, tons of tasteless cheese.

I have reviewed Kitchen 519 several times over the years, all of which were glowing reviews. We went with friends tonight who had never been there before. We prefaced the meal by saying âwe have never had a bad meal hereâ. Tonight changed all of that. We were seated immediately upon our arrival and offered drinks and/ or glasses for our spirits. We were told the eveningâs specials; all good so far.One member of our party ordered soup as a starter, one ordered the cauliflower appetizer and my husband and I shared the calamari which we have ordered many times before. The soup arrived long before the other apprtizers. The two other appetizers came and within minutes the entrees arrived - long before we were finished eating the appetizers. However, only three of four meals arrived. The fourth entree- a burger- was brought a full ten minutes later. My chicken was supposed to have a rum berre blanc sauce. It was dry as sand and very dark- almost burnt. It had absolutely no sauce of any kind. In addition , the âroastedâ potatoes were almost burnt and the arugula was so salty you could barely eat it. No cheese was offered for the pasta dishes and we had to ask to gave the bread basket filled. The server rattled off dessert offerings - no menu was presented- and then left to get coffee and tea, never returning to get a dessert order but instead dropping the check. Service was slow and inconsistent food was brought by multiple servers with no one knowing who was supposed to get what order. The place was chaotic!!!Having suggested Kitchen 519 to our friends, we were both embarrassed and disappointed in all aspects of our evening. We will not be back any time soon.Hello I am sorry to read your review. We recently hired a bunch of new staff and I think that had something to do with your poor experience. We will definitely be speaking to the staff about these issues as your experience is not what we are aiming for. If you wouldnât mind emailing us your address at [email protected] we would love to send you out something. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention.

Went for breakfast with friends. Asked for 3 eggs, 1 scrambled, 2 over medium. Waitress refused saying they won't do that, and management told them not to take orders like this. Huh? Said she would check with the cook. Came back said he won't do it because it's too busy!! I always go with 6-8 friends, and two weeks ago they made this order. What gives, all of a sudden an extra egg is to much to make for a customer??? Couldn't believe an extra egg was REFUSED, even though I'm paying for it. Will go to elsewhere from now on.

We were head north on the Turnpike and it was lunch time so I was looking for a good place to eat. This restaurant is probably less than a mile off Exit 3 of the turnpike, straight down the road, so it's easy to find and doesn't require a detour. The value is amazing, but just as important, the service was great and the food was really good. My husband had the soup of the day (vegetable) and a tuna salad that he loved. I had the meatloaf platter. The food came out quickly and the portions were ample. The meatloaf came with sides, salad, drink AND dessert for something like $10. Everything was really good. The salad dressing was homemade and so was the rice pudding. The waitress was helpful, cheerful and attentive. This is NOT a fancy place, It was full of locals and the food is down to earth, typical diner, comfort food, but diner food done very well. The Club Diner is our new go-to lunch stop on our travels up and down the east coast.

Run, I'm serious, run to get a meal here. We started our meal with mussels. My husband had the spicy red sauced mussels and I had the Thai mussels ... why did I wait so long to try these??? Succulent mussels that were a little bit sweet and a little bit spicy ... so, so flavorful. I had to force myself not to eat an entire bread basket sopping up that yummy broth. Entrees were a halibut special over risotto for him and perfectly cooked flounder francaise for me. My meal was served over wasabi mashed potatoes (at my request) and asparagus. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. If I had one negative comment is would be to encourage Max's to serve a crustier bread; what was served was a hoagie roll.

This pub / restaurant seems very much like Cheers. Not in the look, but the warm, friendliness. This is a place for a great spot to go with friends for good food, drinks, and overall at,osphere. The variety of food, drinks, and high level quality service will have me return when in the area. I highly recommend it!

The Metro Diner is a full-service restaurant that provides quality, large-portioned meals and caters many different audiences including families and private parties. Conveniently located in Brooklawn, NJ, we are easily accessible from all major highways a
After picking up extended family from the airport, we stopped in The Metro which we knew with it's extensive menu, would be able to please everyone. The children's menu pleased the kids and parents and the vast variety of sandwiches, burgers, lunch specials and mini meals provided plenty of options for the group. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her fresh gyro and even the kid's meals were portioned enough to warrant take home boxes to leave room the the desserts that are included. We topped off our visit at the baked goods selections whole checking out. It was too hard to resist the fresh oversized eclairs, cannoli and massive chocolate chippers that we savored over later in the with tea at home. The Metro is conveniently located only 10 minutes from Philadelphia and is a family favorite for any meal.

Been here before when in the area. Nice little place with good breakfasts. Adequate off street parking friendly staff and prompt service. Place is clean and just a bit noisy. Decor is classic diner in reasonable condition, booth cushions are not broken down.

We have been going to the Piston Diner for meals since they opened under the new ownership. Regardless of whether you are visiting for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will find a menu that offers traditional diner selections as well as daily specials. The specials are excellent and change daily. The service and quality of the food far surpasses that of other diners in the area. If you are in the area, definitely give the Piston Diner a try!! We stumbled on Speranza. So glad we did. Though a small space, Seating was comfortable. Lots of wood fired pizzas to choose from, but we went for pasta dishes. Both we very well prepared. The house salad was nice but a little over dressed. Will definitely return. Thank you so much for your 5 star review. We are so glad to hear how much you enjoyed your experience and appreciate you taking the time to let us know. Thank you for your business we hope to see you again soon.
