We had subs here and it took about 30 minutes to get them Only 7 people in line. Watched staff almost stop as they made subs. I have been to many subways and this one was by far the slowest of all
This is your standard Subway wich is a nice alternative to the greasy fast food places. The people that work here are very friendly and helpful. I have been to a lot of Subways and this one is definitely one of the nicer ones.
Mountain Roots Market Inc. Is a consignment Farmers market featuring WV products sourced Locally. As we say from Quilts to Cucumbers. Local Honey, Jams and Jellies and locally Home baked goods. We multiple crafters and vendors displaying various jewelry,
The restaurant is no longer in operation. It was my understanding, they had difficulty in getting reliable employees and tended to employ those who were supposedly recovering drug addicts. They do have a consignment shop along with some baked and canned goods available. They also have a daily yard sale where you make them an offer. I have been to my share of yard sales and thrift shows and know the general worth of something. You have to pay cash only on the yard sale side. They lady was pushy and rude demanding more money. I did oblige and gave a few more bucks, but I do not plan on being back. When they first opened I checked it out in the past, I witnessed the owner berating an older gentleman for not giving enough money for whatever he was buying. If they are that picky, they need to start putting prices on things. They are illegally running this place. You are only allowed to have a yard sale 4 times max a year in West Virginia. After that, you are supposed to collect sales tax. Sales tax is not being collected here.I have asked in the past how is this money helping the ones in need. I was not given really an answer to that. The gentleman at that time could not tell me if the money was donated through a nonprofit organization or directly given to the needed. Overall, how this place is managed is just very sketchy. The other section of the building is where sellers of various crafts and items rent shelving or a space to sell their items on. It appears to be going downhill since the last time I have stopped in. They do not have as many crafts and items being sold as in the past. The items were rather overpriced probably due to the high rent costs. On the plus side, their baked goods are good and worth trying.we are now re opened under new management, please come in and meet my new crew and enjoy some delicious home cooking
Woke up hungry and craving a quick and tasty, breakfast place near you? From fluffy, hand-rolled Made From Scratch⢠Biscuits⢠to crispy bacon on our classic breakfast platter to breakfast favorites that you can't get anywhere elseâ¦Hardee's® serves food ju
Ok guys. I was looking forward to my burger at Hardee's for a long time! (We don't have one at home). I ordered a 'HAMBURGER'. Why in the world do you put CHEESE on a hamburger? Good gosh ~ AND mayonaise..... I was a little upset. After scraping the offensive junk (mayo & cheese) off, it was a tasty burger. Hardees people ~ PLEASE pay attention!

Came to town to visit friends visiting and we met for late breakfast. Wasnât sure about the food, was pleasantly surprised. Bacon is outstanding. I ordered the pancake breakfast with a side of toast! Food hot and service quick. Large cup of coffee and all around well done. Will definitely go back!

This restaurant is advertised as the 'original Mom and Pop's" diner and unless you are local you likely might pass it by for the exterior is not enticing. HOWEVER, the food obviously is excellent as noted by the large number of 'locals' who patronize the establishment. It is a very informal setting and everyone seems to know each other while we were there. Our waitress was quite friendly. With all of the conversation between tables etc, the environment can become rather noisy but that means people are enjoying their time together. We ordered the pork chop and it was FANTASTIC! It was perfectly prepared with a light seasoned coating and beautifully done interior. Our applesauce and also the cole slaw was served in coffee cups but both were good. The hamburger was done nicely and served in a plastic basket. The drinks of milk and Pepsi were in very large glasses. Prices were very reasonable. We'd have the pork cop again if in the area.
We had lunch there today and were incredibly impressed. My husband ordered a traditional burger--and, said it was the best he has eaten in two years. I ordered the roasted vegetable quesadilla, which was also wonderful. The service was attentive without being intrusive. All excellent. We highly recommend.

Ginoâs Pizza & Spaghetti is one of West Virginiaâs most iconic chain restaurants. With 53 locations, we serve authentic pizza and pasta in communities throughout the West Virginia.
I've been here multiple times. The staff are never very friendly but recently the lady at the counter and her boss were pitching a fit over us trying to pay with a $100. They had no signs saying we couldn't and were very rude about it. The food is mediocre. Pubwiches are good but smaller, wings are kind of dry. Lasagna isn't too bad. Service is very slow.Wouldn't come back by choice unless I was REALLY craving a pubwich.

We've stopped several times & today was one of the best. Beef Brisket was better than some of the visits we've had but we have mainly stopped here for a fabulous dessert called Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake or something close to that. How very disappointing to learn they no longer carry it. We did try a new dessert, the Salted Caramel sundae, that was tasty but nothing near that delicious pudding cake.

Joined close friends for their birthday celebration... they eat there all the time... a first for our family. They preordered a specialty appetizer, polenta with mushroom sauce, special order! It was delicious. I ordered the steak with frites, steak was tender and fries were tasty. Tried my hubbies potato crusted salmon and it was very good also. Service was good. Only deterrent was the jazz music, it was hard to hear folks on the other end of the table and interact. Will most definitely go back.
