Farm and Dock to Table Full Service restaurant. Serving fresh Local cuisine. We have outdoor seating as well as a fire pit. Full bar with Cocktails, Local Micro Brews and a wine list. Now offering Pizza and Wings to go in addition to our regular menu.
We have visited the restaurant several times as a family and with guests. Food is always outstanding and the menu options are interesting. A bit more upscale then other local restaurants with options that go far beyond fried fish and lobster.. Service has been consistently exceptional. Price is reasonable especially given the freshness of food. Deserts are made on-site and well worth the splurge. The outdoor fire pit and other seating is a nice touch and one that enhances the experience for families and friends. For all of the full-time residents; the restaurant is open all year!!

We have an annual tradition of going to The Beachcomber for a dozen raw oysters and lobster rolls and then hitting up the double feature at the Wellfleet drive-in. So fun! It is always PACKED at The Beachcomber but you can't beat the fun, beach party scene if you want a great night out on the town!

Located at the corner of Commercial Street and Kendrick Avenue on picturesque Wellfleet Harbor, Pearl is the quintessential Cape Cod dining experience. It features indoor-outdoor dining on multi-level decks with panoramic views of the entire harbor includ
A more casual experience, very comfortable indoors or on the outside 2nd story deck that overlooks the lovely harbor at Wellfleet. The menu features all the local specialties you might expect. The drinks were well prepared, The food was delicious and fresh, and the service was top-notch. There is limited parking in the restaurant's adjacent lot, but basically unlimited free parking at the nearby town pier.

Mac's Shack is all about the pure goodness of the season's local harvest. Your taste buds will shout "hello summer!" Ice cold Wellfleet Oysters, tender lobster dripping with butter, mouthwatering sushi, and the freshest seafood served on the Cape - made e
Mac's Shack was a welcome surprise in our mid-day jaunt around Wellfleet. Their menu seemed very similar to what they offer in the Provincetown restaurant, but I'd never been there for lunch. We sat outside at the Shack and had very fresh, well-prepared meals for our lunch. Perfect place to close out a nice end-of-summer weekend!

Iâm not even a fan, but who can resist lobster when youâre visiting the Cape? The Bookstore is consistently good.Originally our group of 5 hoped to sit in the outside deck upstairs. However, it was full and a bit cool. Nonetheless we could watch the gorgeous sunset from the our cozy table inside. Hungry from walking on the beach and not eating all day we started with cocktails and a 2 dozen oysters and little neck clams. The oysters are fresh wellsfelt and the clams were soft and juicy. Highly recommend this appetizer. For entreeâs we had lobster, baked cod, and Portuguese stew with salad, coleslaw and French fries. All were delicious! Desert was watching the sunset! Itâs classic Cape Cod.

Three of us enjoyed a delicious dinner here during a recent trip to the Cape. The fish was very fresh and prepared beautifully and the menu was varied and interesting. We all enjoyed our dinners and the waitress was also friendly and attentive. We will definitely return next time we are in Wellfleet.

Our guests are mostly made up of families looking for an enjoyable evening out to eat with the kids or passersby intrigued by our string-lit patio. No matter what brings them in, our friendly staff is here to welcome everyone into our restaurant. Founded
We have eaten at Winslows many times over the years and we did a very positive review in 2014. Our meal earlier this month was also quite good and we enjoyed spending nice evening with our sister and brother-in-law who are great fans of the restaurant. The purpose of this review is to ask the owners to rethink your policy about bread for the table. In the past, dinners were served bread without a charge and more recently that policy was changed and a three dollar charge has been instituted. The amount of the charge is minimal and anyone dining at Winslows can certainly afford the cost, that is not the issue. The issue is that hospitality demands that guests who come to break bread with family and friends should not be charged for the bread. It sets forth a very negative vibe for the meal and the dining experience. You certainly could ask if bread was desired or not, but to charge for the bread seems quite inhospitable. Please rethink this policy with an eye towards creating a welcoming and hospitable ambiance to your restaurant.Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that you feel our decision to charge for bread is inhospitable; that was absolutely not our intent. We pride ourselves on providing a dining experience that over-delivers. It is quite possible the server did not apprise you of the policy change which was clearly a mistake, and I'm sorry for that. We carefully evaluated the policy of complimentary bread over the past three seasons, spoke to other local restauranteurs who charge for bread and there were a few factors which led to the decision that I'd like to make you aware of that many restaurant guests don't realize. We are supportive of long overdue increases in minimum wage and progressive health care and paid leave benefit packages in Massachusetts, but they challenge us to find ways to meet these rising costs without raising all prices across the board in a very competitive, very volatile and unstable seasonal market. We tracked the production of our bread against waste and loss and found that many guests accepted the complimentary bread and few ate most or all of it - which is also very true of water consumption. We chose to target only one elective item on the menu that could sustain a reasonable charge while minimizing waste. I do hope you decide to dine with us again. Cheers,Tracey Barry Hunt, GM/Owner

Van Rensselaer's Restaurant & Raw Bar is closed for the season - we thank you for your patronage - and we look forward to seeing you in April 2020 !
Every September, Van Rensselaerâs Restaurant is a spot we return to for a fantastic dinner. We sometimes arrive for the âearly birdâ which includes a salad bar or serving of soup with your meal. I especially love this restaurant because they are very kind to vegetarians. Their salad bar has so much to choose from, including several types of greens, beans, vegetables, cheeses and extras. Tonight I ordered Tofu Provençal which had tofu, tomatoes, basil, feta and olive oil with a side of steamed broccoli. Fabulous! I highly recommend this restaurant.
