Very nice people run the restaurant. we enjoyed the big old fashion hamburger. This is not a fancy place but many local fishermen go here for breakfast. Just be aware in this county smoking is still permitted in the bars and restaurants.

The food and atmosphere in this floating restaurant is excellent. The atmosphere is casual, as you would expect. The owner is personally involved and present and it shows. Good food, good service, reasonable prices. Dine outside on the dock or inside.

Had the Brisket dinner, the strips were hanging off the plate, delicious. Dinners come with 2 sides, get the baked beans! I will return.

Located in the "middle of town," Rusty Skillet is exactly what you look for in a diner. Friendly hometown waitresses, cook in the back slingin' hash, huge servings of homecooked meals, local advertisements on the tables, and people talking from table to table, like they were long time friends. This is small town Americana, folks!I've eaten here all times of the day. By far, my favorite is their breakfast. Homemade pancakes (no pre packaged batter here, folks), huge servings of biscuits and gravy, delicious home fries. Breakfast, by far, is their finest meal of the day.The service her is top notch. I've never seen a waitress or cook without a huge smile on their faces. This is an extremely friendly place. We've come here with my sons and a bunch of their friends, and those servers treated the like they were kings!Once you get to lunch, and especially dinner, the food isn't as good as breakfast. It tastes tired...like it's lacking excitement for your tastebuds. If you're looking for an inexpensive, delicious homestyle breakfast, this is a must see. When you're finished, amble around Main Street to see all the little antique shops, and send the guys down the street to go fishing on Truman Lake.
Nice cozy atmosphere. Treat you like they know you. Right by the lake across the parking lot. Food comes out quick and hot. We ordered breakfast stuff. My girlfriend highly recommends the Lincoln scramble, suggested by the waitress. Will definitely go back again and hope they keep doing well

A friend and I went out to dinner here. He had eaten here before, but it was my first time. I was impressed! The menu was upscale, not your normal small town comfort food (which I also like very much). They had over a dozen craft beers on tap to choose from and an impressive selection of food and wine. This is not the kind of choices you expect in a little town. The meal I had was excellent, with sauces that were made there adding to the flavors. The setting is perfect, it is on main street in downtown, but overlooking Drake Harbor and the lake. You can drive there or go by boat. I would recommend it to anyone who likes great food and drink; I definitely will return to this gem.

We've been trying to go all summer, but our schedule never matched the restaurant's schedule. We finally made it in and were glad we did. The catfish was great (says my husband) and my tenderloin was good, too. The fries were excellent, the mashed potatoes were meh. The hushpuppies were a little heavy, but when you're eating a ton of fried stuff, it can all get a little heavy. It's out of the way, but it's worth finding. The night we were there, it seemed like they were short handed. The service was friendly, but sporadic.

Amazing home cooked meals from scratch. Huge 1/2lb hand formed burgers, hand cut fries, mouthwatering steaks, stellar service and handcrafted original cocktails. Come try one of R-Famous 22oz Bacon Bloody Mary's or a juicy 12oz Ribeye that we have become
Many reviewers are raving about the Roadhouse but I think it is just an average restaurant overall. Had Three Alarm burger but it was not really spicy the same goes for the Cajun fries. Salty yes but not much Cajun flavor. Wife had the Mahi Mahi but again mentioned that it was kind of bland. Very disappointed with the Bloody Mary that everyone raves about. Just because you stick a couple pieces of bacon in a drink does not make it great. It was extremely weak and watery and Wife had some sort of fruity drink that she commented was watery as well. One big issue is that there is no outdoor seating overlooking the lake. There were a few tables at the entrance with a great view of car grills in the parking lot but nothing else. In my opinion lake view seating at a lake restaurant is mandatory. Service was very good and place was clean. Again must emphasize that this is a pretty good restaurant for the Warsaw area but outside of that not really that special. Good but by no means great.Hi James...I hate to hear that we didn't blow you away on your visit. I personally make the bloody mary mix, which has 16 different ingredients, so to hear that it was "watery or bland" is disheartening. My only guess would be that perhaps it might have sat a little too long and watered down before being delivered, which is unacceptable. As for the three alarm burger, we try to match the "spice" to local tastes, but we would be more than happy to make it as spicy as you like. I would love another opportunity to knock your socks off, and would be happy to buy you and your wife another Bacon Bloody Mary and Rum Punch on your next visit to show you what everyone has been raving about. If you would be so kind to give us another try, please ask for me personally so I can be sure your experience is a stellar one! Thanks!Kevin

Full service specialty coffee and drink shop. We serve full menu breakfast and lunch. We don't do fried foods but you will leave feeling full and satisfied. We serve a different kind of menu then you've seen in Warsaw. Homemade biscuits and gravy, omelets
Seated right away and given menu. After choosing our burgers and placing lunch order it seemed too long before food came. Instead of potato chips we had the option of salad which was very fresh. Interior is quite plain, very small town Missouri. There were many people who came in just for the coffee, we didn't try it but evidently the area residents are quite fond of the selection. Price is not bad, wouldn't want to pay more because of the very plain decor.

Stop by and see us at the Common Ground Cafe on the Osage! We feature amazing signature sandwiches, delicious salads, original tea and coffee blends, and most of all, a hospitable and friendly staff. The rustic barnwood decor alone makes this one of the m
We went to Common Ground for dinner with 2 other couples. Everyone had something different, but they were all excellent and the service was very good. The venue is very impressive, a fully restored and remodeled old hotel on main street.....gorgeous. We will definitely return.
