Sat outside on a beautiful summer evening, surrounded by the ornamental plants and flowers in the plaza where the restaurant sits on Chagrin Boulevard. I ordered the Lola, a delicious burger with Symonâs Signature Pickled Onions with Cheddar Cheese. The burger was smaller, but enough when you order a side dish. I had the Rosemary Fries, skinny slices of heaven that capped off a nice meal.

Eat. Laugh. Wine. A neighborhood bistro with an emphasis on wine in the heart of Cleveland Heights! Holiday hours may be different than those shown.
My wife and I were in the middle of errands and decided to pop in for lunch. What a pleasant surprise. The decor, the music, the service, the food--all of it just perfect. We had the bruschetta as well as soup. It was a filling, but light lunch.I would love to come back for dinner some time. There is a full bar and the atmosphere would be great for a romantic dinner, or a meal with friends.

Melt opened in September 2006 with one goal: To provide gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and as many beers as possible in a cool and comfortable environment. No bar food. No boring choices on tap. And something for everyone: it's Cleveland-friendly, slig
First time Iâve ever been to Melt after hearing about it so many times. The atmosphere is fun. The menu has LOTS of choicesâespecially for us vegetarians. Huge beer and cocktail list. Only problem was the service was slow. Understaffed for sure. I understand this is a long-standing issue.Still a great sandwich and good soup.

Incredible matza ball soup! My husband and I donâtCleveland much but Jackâs is always a stop. Fresh, crisp pickles are fantastic! Not too garlicky- just right. Like crunching on a fresh cucumber. And that soup! Jewish penicillin as my mother used to say.

Our concept at fire is a simple one: perfectly prepared food and drink at reasonable prices, in an exciting atmosphere. we create simple foods with innovative presentations using the best quality ingredients. we also provide friendly, efficient and profes
We thoroughly enjoyed our food, as well as, the outstanding service. Nice hip place with a great brunch. The atmosphere was very comfortable and I always love an open kitchen. Started off with a spicy Bloody Mary, which was amazing. Enjoyed the house made pickle in it too. The brunch menu really offered a wide variety, which made my decision very difficult because it all sounded so good. I narrowed it down to the cured oro salmon, frittata, and lemon soufflé pancakes and had the server pick one and surprise me. My husband ordered the vanilla mascarpone French toast and a side of the house smoked bacon and our server surprised me with the cured salmon. It was all delicious and I mean every last bite! I wish I lived near by so I could work my way through the menu. The French toast with the brûlée bananas and creme anglaise was a perfect brunch entree. The flavors were fantastic together. The bagel that was served with the salmon tasted like it was just made. The salmon was so fresh and tasty and the side of egg salad was the perfect compliment. I created a bagel loaded with cream cheese, salmon, tomatoes, onions and capers that was absolutely top notch. It was a masterpiece and I cleaned my plate. I can honestly say if you havenât been, you need to go. What a great find with delicious food and awesome service. We decided to eat inside, but there is a nice patio area to enjoy eating outside. Highly recommend. Thank you 9kathyf! We appreciate your detailed review and support of fire. We hope to see you again.

I am a repeat patron. Easy access and plenty of parking. The new theater and dining complex across the street creates some competition.Easy going restaurant with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The layout is fun, the action not as much.Limited choice in craft brews, varied menu, with something for everyone. The entrees were sizable and we skipped desert.

This is more than a place for a great piece of meat. Critics are buzzing about Red, The Steakhouse. No wonder it ranks within the top 10 best steakhouses in the country according to Esquire and Playboy magazines. Look for creative cuisine a la seafood, po
We called ahead to restaurant to make sure that there could be something for the vegetarian in our group of 4 to eat. " No problem! We can do anything ! " was the exuberant answer. We had a lovely table~the server said chef could do anything in the lines of vegetarian. Server was told "any vegetables, dairy is good, and spicy even better" The meals showed up after iffy salads and the steaks were delicious and perfect. Vegetarian dish? Steamed/roasted vegetables with no flavor at all. No cheese or spice~ nothing but vegetables and tasteless... In fairness to the restaurant we did not complain as we were guests of a friend and did not want to ruin their dinner. But, this is simply unacceptable. We certainly understand if restaurants do not want to offer vegetarian fare it is fine. But, when we take the time to call ahead and then ask the server and get what could be best described as hospital food it is ridiculous and frustrating. Any restaurant with a good chef has always made amazing fun dish for the us in the past. We never expect or ask this on a busy night and with only three tables of guests at Red when we dined they certainly were not busy.

If you like delis, this is your place. The menu is full of traditional jewish dishes, from brisket to cold cuts to borscht and matzah ball soup. Think of what you would find in a traditional ny deli, and this is better. Loved the wording on the menu, and the way the staff talks about the food. We had the hot dogs, brisket, pastrami, burger, blinzes and eclair. Portions are big, so be ready. If you like delis, this is worth going out of your way for.... Definately will be back.

Celebrated a friend's birthday here. She loves steak and I knew she would live the food here. Yes, it is pricey. But, ooooh so wonderfully great....food and service was lovely. I had the bison steak....awesome. perfectly seasoned and cooked. Had the Brussel sprouts....I think there was more bacon that sprouts...haha...but totally delicious. Also had the Caesar Salad. Perfect. My friend had the 14 oz Francona, the chopped salad and the au gratin potatoes. She loved them all. Ice tea was great. Meal was just under $150. for the two of us. We had no liguor. Will go back for another special treat. One sidebar, we sat in a booth in the bar area, the second one from the piano. He tried to drown out all the conversations....it was way too loud....that was the only downside. We got there early and only had to experience that after about 6:30. We'll go early again or ask to be seated in the dining room away from the piano. It really was too loud.
