A historic restaurant
We had a delicious dinner here. We ordered chopped steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions, mashed potatoes and salad. Expected instant potatoes, but they were real potatoes! Yum, The owners were very friendly. We ask about the historical significance of the old building. Learned a lot. (Wouldnât want to spoil the history for you.). They also have a bar, but since we donât drink, canât rate that. Would certainly recommend eating there when in the area.

Easily our worst meal in a week's worth of traveling. We'd already left one restaurant due to service concerns and hoped pizza would be a quick and simple second choice. It was simple but by no means quick. We ordered quickly but waited about an hour before getting breadsticks and a pizza. When we checked in after 45 minutes about our order, the gal indicated there were lots of call ins - apparently, sit down patrons are second to all call in orders as there were 3 other families also waiting for food in the restaurant. I truly believe the breadsticks were only in the oven after we made a comment.

Very friendly staff and some local beers on tap. Just stopped in for drinks along the way and was surprised to find the place has some food, a pool table, a big fireplace that was going and some really friendly people. I'm in this area once in a while and will stop in again. There is not much around and it was super nice to find somewhere to stop and have a beer or two.
This place has such a good vibe. We ate dinner here and rented e-bikes. The e-bikes were fun to take on the trail to Mullen. The food was good and there was a yummy huckleberry margarita. We went back and got a nitro coffee the next day which was great to find in such a small town. Definitely stop in!

I had a regular breakfast (bacon, eggs and hash browns) and my wife had the huckleberry pancakes. Both were great. Nice small town family restaurant. Loved it

My brother and I were on our way back to my home in Oregon and we made a point to stop here as we had stopped a year ago. This time we had breakfast and it was excellent. I really enjoy the atmosphere. It is like you are eating in a museum. The ceiling is covered with old license plates. There are antiques everywhere, the booths are lined with neckties. It is a clean place though. No dust. We really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the service. It is a great place to visit. A person much go more than once to see everything. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We attempted to give this place another try but just not very good . The server was this young kid that knew nothing about the menu , no idea what the soup was and just seemed lost I ordered a prime rib sandwich which was pretty greasy and my friend ordered the salmon . It was over cook and very dry . The salmon I get from cosco that I cook in a real hurry sometimes was better . We had to go get silverware . After our last experience I was hoping it would be better . There are much better options in Wallace .Sorry you were disappointed. That doesn't seem like our usual team. Our apologies. Only place open so we were scared. Nice surprise as lunch was nice. Locally brewed IPA was quite good. The French dip was excellent with exceptional flavor. Sadly bread was soft. I like it crispy. Coleslaw was well flavored. Cuban was fair at best. Frozen fries in Idaho whatâs up with that?Pleasant service. OK prices.

This was the last, and by far the best, restaurant we ate at during our 3 day stay in Wallace. The food was superb and the wine machines added a fun tasting experience. We got to chat with the owner and learn about his experience renovating the restaurant. The menu is probably not super kid friendly as they have things like quail and shrimp rather than chicken strips and fries. We will go back for sure. They are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

A gourmet eatery featuring classic and modern sandwiches, soup and salad for lunch & classic Italian dinner in the evenings.
This is a small, cute little restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. The sandwiches are grilled and unusual - but very, very, good. The Shrimp Poor Boy was wonderful; large, blackened shrimp were cooked perfectly and the Mesquite Turkey was excellent. Prices are reasonable - a great find, just down from the museum.
