Find out what American restaurants to try in Walla Walla. Wineries are beginning to rival the sweet-tasting Walla Walla onion as the hallmark of this lovely town at the foot of the Blue Mountains. In fact, the combination of excellent wineries and appealing scenery has put Walla Walla on the map as one of the country's hottest new wine-touring regions. The town's rich history, starting with the Indian tribes who first settled here followed by the early pioneers, the establishment and subsequent tragic demise of a famous mission and then a gold rush, is also a tourist draw. Fascinating museums and historic attractions bring this past to life. Music and the arts are a vital part of this culturally conscious college town, which boasts one of the oldest symphony orchestras west of the Mississippi, frequent summertime blues and jazz concerts, arts festivals and at least 15 art galleries. A revitalized downtown features restored 19th-century buildings, restaurants, galleries and wine-tasting rooms. If you're itching for outdoor fun, head east for hiking, mountain biking and fishing in the Blue Mountains or take the relatively easy Stateline Loop bike trail to Oregon and back.

Great ambiance and comfortable place in Walla, Walls. Stopped by twice last weekend for drink and appetizers before heading out to dinner. Service was excellent and the cocktails hand crafted and made with care and excellence. Didn't sample as much of the menu as we would have liked but saw some excellent looking food coming out of the kitchen. Cheese plate was super good with an excellent chutney and variety of mostly local cheeses. Shout out to Matt who runs his bar like a pro. Will definatly be a standard for return trips for us.

We met friends for lunch, nice sandwiches and pizza. Good service. Also had very nice pastries both in restaurant and as takeout. Pleasant twist, like lemon cream with the raspberry danish. Nice dining room, glass facing Main Street and a busy kitchen, oven in the back.

Welcome to TMACS, a modern New American bistro situated in the heart of Washington wine country. Our menu takes full advantage of our region's bounty featuring house-made, unprocessed foods with an emphasis on seasonal, organic produce from local farmers.
It's unusual for me to have a day off during the week but the recent Labor Day afforded me the opportunity to take my wife out to lunch. Since I had read a fair bit about the place TMACS was chosen. My wife ordered a pesto, sausage and pasta bowl. I, being a lover of pastrami and corned beef, ordered a Reuben. I don't believe either of us had anything but water. Our server was quite devoted to us as for the most part of the time there we were the only customers. When the food was delivered I was amazed at the size of the sandwich. Both of us were more than pleased with our lunch. In fact, my sandwich was so large I could eat only half and could enjoy the other half for lunch at work. However, somehow, we managed to have room for dessert. My wife had crême brûlée while I had a berry crumble or the like. I do remember it was very tasty.I want to say this 5* review is for lunch service. I have no idea how dinner service and food would compare.

We are a locavore breakfast and lunch restaurant , specializing in foods made from scratch. We are also serving Stumptown espresso as well as breakfast cocktails, beer on tap and and a wide selection of bubbles .
After three visits to Bacon and Eggs I decided it was finally time to write a review. This review covers three different servers, three different occasions and ten entrées. Only one time did anyone order bacon. Was the bacon that good? Not particularly, but it wasn't horrid.Usually the service was good. Occasionally it was better, once in awhile it was less than good. I never really had a problem with anybody or anything from the kitchen. Sometimes it was better than usual. It's not the cheapest place in town, there are quite a few others that have that privilege, but it's always been worth the trip.

Very nice dining room in restored factory that shares space with Seven Rivers winery. Service was VERY slow, and not super friendly. My beef tenderloin was good, but unexceptional and served only with very plain mashed potatoes. Wifeâs smoked trout salad was OK but overdressed and a bit soggy with dressing. Wine list is very pricey.

Located in historic downtown Walla Walla. A diverse menu. I highly recommend the octopus dish. My wife had the pasta with mussels and said it was one of the best pasta dishes she has ever had. Great atmosphere with a unique cocktail menu.

Dine in the rich surroundings of The Marc Restaurantâwhere gourmet cuisine and award-winning wines come together, to create The Ultimate Walla Walla Dining Experience. Our six in-house chefs meticulously prepare the regionâs finest menu of Pacific Northwe
Wood dominates the decor w/booths around the perimeter of the dining room. We both had the lobster tail & caesar salad. While lobster was fine & well-priced, the salad disappointed. Dressing was pasty mayo & parmesan heavy. Lettuce was chopped finely and too many flavorless croutons. The L'Ecole Cab S was excellent and very reasonably priced & dry Manhattans were well-prepared.

Inspired by the local ingredients of the Pacific Northwest, Hattawayâs on Alder brings the cooking traditions of the Southeast and rural America to downtown Walla Walla, Washington. Honest food with the charm of Southern hospitality.
The very engaged owners (husband runs the kitchen wife runs the restaurant) deliver unique menu offerings with a southern touch/slant. The very large shaved celery/parmesan salad was a starter example. The hushpuppies are another with a unique butter spread. The roasted duck leg wasw superb while the Gnochhi w/sausage missed the mark by not providing enough distniction in the ingredients; however, the kitchen is to be commended for stepping outside the box. Chad, the bartender, is super creative and has some delightful creations. Darker the Juice, Who Controls the Spice adn One Last Sour are excellent examples. Further enhancing the experience, the wait staff is fully engaged. Terrific dining establishment!
